With a relaxed and comfortable elegance, the Lodge offers 7 exclusively decorated rooms all with ensuite bathrooms. Manta Ray Lodge is a tribute to Azores marine life and all rooms are decorated with natural tones and textures that blend with the ocean colors in a stylish, yet natural ambience. Lounge & kitchen, common patio. At Manta Ray Lodge we are very happy to help guests with any information they need. Manta Ray Lodge is located right in the centre of Horta, with beautiful views to the ocean and Faial-Pico channel. It is within walking distance of Horta’s highlights (the marina, Monte da Guia Marine Reserve, Porto Pim beach, whaling museum, botanical garden), local shops and restaurants. Manta Ray Lodge is within walking distance of most Horta highlights. To get to know the island, we recommend guests rent a car or a scooter (during the summer cars and scooters are difficult to rent, so we recommend doing it in advance). There are also taxis and organized tours. Taxis have fixed prices; airport transfer to the Lodge costs about 15 EUR. A common lounge and kitchen is available for guests to prepare light meals. A traditional breakfast is included during mid and high seasons (1st April-31st October). During low season breakfast is not included on the room rate (November to March). Every year, from the 1st Sunday of August until the following Sunday, Horta celebrates the Sea Week, a nautical festival with street restaurants and outdoor concerts and noise levels increase until late hours. Manta Ray Lodge doesn't have a lift and room access is done by stairs (people with limited mobility should keep that in mind when booking our property).
