A 40m2 chalet set in 13000m² of meadow & wood, set back from a quiet road & surrounded by nature. 1 bedroom with king size bed. Living room with sofa Kitchen with coffee maker, electric cooker, micro-wave, fridge. Outdoor table & chairs with parasol. Lake 5 minutes walk with fishing & summer swimming, village restaurant, 7 minute drive to large supermarket, fuel, pharmacy, vet & launderette. Pets are welcome, but we need to be informed. The area is great for walking & cycling. The Corrèze is a unspoiled, rural area which is hilly & covered in forests, lakes & rivers with lovely towns & villages. We are situated on the edge of the Millevaches National Park. The chalet, meadow and woodland are available to all guests. We live on site so you can ask questions, we speak English. We are nature lovers. Bird, mammal, insect & flora abound here. I am a keen photographer who will give free help on the subject. We like walking & can show you local walks & some further away. Saint-Salvadour : Lake, 5 minutes walk down the road from here where they have fishing and summer swimming. Restaurant, La Ferme du Leondu in the village 1.3km from here (Closed Wednesday). Post Office, open Tuesday - Friday mornings. Treignac, a medieval town with old buildings, a museum, cafés, restaurants, creperie. Lake Bariousses 4km North of Treignac with sandy beach, sailing, pedalo, canoe-kayak, swimming, fishing & Bar. Tulle, a town with history linking to the WWII Oradour-sur-Glane massacre. It has museums, arts & festivals. The River Corrèze flowing down the centre of the town. Brive-le-Galliarde is a large town in the Corrèze and lovely for shopping, with old streets, coffee houses, museums, galleries & large stores on the outskirts. There are many medieval towns in the area. You will need some sort of transport as we are rural. .
