A bushy retreat near Darebin Parklands and Darebin Creek in Ivanhoe. Join the birds and the bees in our large backyard. Leafy and quiet surroundings, with easy access to Melbourne’s culture and lifestyle choices. Buzzing High St Northcote is just a 10 minute drive or 15 minute bus ride. Well insulated; elect hotplates; convection oven M/W; filtered water on tap; vegetarian and vegan friendly- recycling and worm farm; brilliant nature walks; “endless” bike trails. Generally "on street" parking only. Easy access to shopping areas, and cinemas at Northland Preston, just minutes away too. Our native garden is actually quite flammable in summer – this is definitely a no smoking location. Bungalow in our back yard with shared entrance at side of house. Leafy suburb close to park lands and all amenities, including supermarket, restaurants, cafes and public transport. Well regarded Darebin Parklands, just a 10 minute walk. Northland Preston Shopping complex is a 10 minute drive. Vibrant High St Northcote/Thornbury precinct is only a 7 minute drive off to the west of us. An easy 12 minutes walk from Ivanhoe Station, (15 from Darebin Station,) the 510 bus (Essendon to Ivanhoe) and the 250 bus (Latrobe University/City 2 minute walk) is even closer.
