Mill Apartment on the River Frome in Eastington

The apartment is part of a converted textile mill and is located just 5 minutes from the M5 off J13. The space is tranquil, light and airy. It has an open plan lounge and fully equipped kitchen with two bedrooms and bathroom. The owner lives here. Stroud is nearby for the bustle of shops, bistros, cafes and Farmers' Market while Saul Junction offers idyllic waterway walks. Further along the river, a 7 minute drive away, the popular Fromebridge Mill pub serve hearty meals. On ground level there is a private designated parking space. The entrance to the mill is at the basement which a large communal space with a water wheel originally providing power from the River which runs through and under the mill. The lift or stairs takes you to a higher elevation on the second floor which lends to views of trees, flowing water and a rural landscape. With additional communal terrace, it is a peaceful stopover for commuters or walkers of the Cotswold Way and a tourist attraction for artists, cyclists and nature lovers alike. Breakfast can be self served offering fruit, cereal and homemade bread and muesli, fresh juices, a selection of teas and fresh coffee. Outside the Mill and overlooking the river, there is a communal patio and seating area where it’s possible to eat, read and relax. The owner lives in the mill apartment and will welcome you in person, introduce you to the site, apartment and show you how to access amenities. She may have a dog, relatives or friends in the apartment from time to time. The presence of others, whether two or four legged should not effect the smooth running of the Airbnb or compromise customer satisfaction. Guests here are business commuters or people en route to and from their holiday destination. Guests have a private car parking slot on site and cyclists can safely lock their bike in designated racks located in the mill basement. The mill apartment is not a holiday apartment in itself but rather a perfect stop over for people passing through and in need of assured rest and nourishment.
