Lovely Lakeview Cottage

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally located cottage across the road from a shallow entry lake. Enjoy the bright and open space with a propane stove for heat/ambiance. 2 bdrms, 1 queen / 1 double bed. 4 pc bath with Rain style shower head. Flat screen TV. Kitchen is complete. Dine inside or on the spacious deck. The Lake is perfect for small watercraft, Kayaks, paddle-boards Explore the many other lakes in the vicinity. Bancroft is only 20 min. away for shopping and entertainment. We are up a little hill and surrounded by trees which provides just the right amount of privacy, shade and sun, which makes it perfect for lounging or dining on the deck. The cottage is fully equipped for your comfort. Linens, Towels, Hand Soap, BodySoap, Dish Soap. Mosquito coils and citronella candles for outside use are there. Please bring your own personal spray bug repellent. Candles and flashlights in case of a power outage. First Aid Kit Kitchen is equipped with tea, coffee, coffee maker and filters, coffee grinder, sugar, salt pepper, cooking oil and other basic spices. There are extra Blankets and pillows. Bancroft offers shopping, LCBO, restaurants and pubs and The Village playhouse for theatre, concerts and films, see online for guide. There are three out buildings on the property that are not guest accessible. The driveway is shared with my neighbour who is a little further up the hill. Caution should be taken when leaving or coming to the property. We live in the area and are about 20 minutes away so if there are any problems or you need anything we are always available by text and we will do our best to help make your stay memorable. We are perfectly located for all kinds of outdoor activities. The lake has shallow entry and is the perfect size for small watercraft, jet ski and waterskiing, kayaks, paddle boards and canoes, the boat launch is only a minute down the road. There are larger lakes within 5 to 15 minutes which offer something for everyone. Fishing in the area has everything from Rainbow, Small and Large Mouth Bass, Walleye, Northern Pike and Muskie. Cycling is always a pleasure, rolling hills natural setting and minimal traffic. For the adventurer you are only 25 min to Kingscote Lake Access point #15 Algonquin Park. Hiking, horseback riding are all here for you. The town of Maynooth best known for their Artists, Shoppes and music is 25 minutes away. Public beaches are Diamond Lake 10 min Papineau Public Beach Mineral Museum The Village Playhouse - theatre, film and concerts. Bancroft is only 20 minutes away, and if needed there are 2 taxi services Bancroft Taxi, or Don’s Taxi We are in a rural area and the wildlife lives in our backyards, it wouldn’t be uncommon to see a deer, moose, wild turkey, fox or even a bear. Please don’t leave food or garbage outside it only attracts them and makes them an uninvited guest.
