Mediterranean lookout house with southern exposures atop the Andalusian village of Ojén, with views of the mountains and the coast of Marbella, 10 minutes away. Africa can be seen in the mornings from its wide terraces. On the top floor, 3 bedrooms with fantastic views and a transformable living living/bedroom space and two bathrooms. Downstairs, two terraces and private pool with a large and bright living room with high ceilings with fireplace and dining room connected to a generous kitchen. Quiet and stylish, equidistant from the magnificent natural environment of the Sierra de las Nieves and the beaches of the Mediterranean, with ample indoor and outdoor spaces and set on three levels. The house is in a tranquil and quiet neighborhood, so rowdy parties or noise after midnight or during during the day would not be be appropriate and would detract from the town's charm—to which we want to contribute. On the top floor are 3 bedrooms and a TV/living room (with a sofa-bed, which turns the room into a bedroom) and two bathrooms. Downstairs, there are two terraces and private pool (2.85x3.60 m), with a large and bright living room and dining room connected to a cosy kitchen. The pool is on a separate terrace and is equipped with sunbeds. The pool is deep, so be vigilant about small children who can't swim. You can access all of the house except for the basement, which is closed off. If you find items stored in any of the many closets, please do not remove them. Do not hesitate to contact us should you have any queries. Ojén is a beautiful white mountain village on the Costa del Sol, perfect combination to enjoy a quiet walk or a breakfast at the famous churrería, "El Mojaíto", before or after a day of hiking. Just minutes from Marbella, capital of the Costa del Sol with eclectic cuisine and leisure, Ojén offers the option of moving from the activity of the coast to the tranquility of a natural setting. Due to its geographical location, with the Sierra Blanca protecting it from the north winds, and the sea providing moderate temperature during the summer, the coast of Marbella enjoys a "microclimate" with average annual temperatures of 18ºC, idyllic destination for holidays, regardless of the time of year. If you are a lover of the more summery plans offered by the south of Spain or if you prefer a getaway during the winter, the area of Marbella is the ideal place to escape the cold and find calm and mild temperatures. By car, the following are estimated travel distances (to airports): Málaga (AGP) 45 mins; Gibraltar (GIB) 1 h 10 mins; Jérez de la Frontera (XRY) 2 h; Sevilla (SVQ) 2 h 20 mins. Marbella is a mere 10 minutes away by car, 16 by bus. "Cielo Bajo" (low skies) is the name of the house. It refers to an unfinished project by the greatest poet of 20th-century Spain: Federico García Lorca.
