Mews flat in the Pentlands near Edinburgh

This tastefully furnished and cosy flat is located on the first and second floors at one end of a detached house with its own private entrance (via external staircase). Situated in the countryside there are amazing views of the Pentland Hills which make for a peaceful and relaxed stay. It is located 1.5 miles from Penicuik and 6 miles from Edinburgh (25 mins away). It is also the ideal location if you are travelling north or south as it is located just off the A702 The living space comprises an open plan kitchen/dining/lounge which is light, spacious and cosy. There is a sofa bed in the lounge area. The bathroom is also on this floor and includes a shower. There are 2 bedrooms on the floor above - a double and twin. There is access to a tennis court on request We live in the main house and so are available for any questions or problems that you might have during your stay. The property is situated in the countryside at the foot of the Pentland Hills. The area is perfectly located for many enjoyable days out. For keen walkers, the Pentland Hills are on the doorstep and there are many walks to explore. Rosslyn Chapel (made famous by the Da Vinci Code movie) is also close by. Edinburgh is easily accessible by car and there are buses into Edinburgh a short walk from the flat. The property is a great base to explore Edinburgh from but allows you to escape from the busyness of the city. Penicuik is close by and has Tesco and Lidl supermarkets with a few options for dining out. Peebles is only 13 miles away - a beautiful Borders town with lovely coffee shops, art galleries and gift shops. Glentress and Go Ape are situated just on the outskirts of this town. We would recommend a car for your stay due to the location of the property. There are buses available into Edinburgh.
