Nestling amongst mountains and the sea, Penmaenmawr is located between Llanfairfechan and the historical town of Conwy. If you have not previously visited Penmaenmawr, you may be unaware of its hidden treasures. If you arrive by car you will either have come by the A55 or you will have travelled from the direction of Conwy, over the picturesque Sychnant Pass which forms part of the Snowdonia National Park. This will have given you a taste of what is on offer. Relax in one of a number of good pubs and restaurants within Penmaenmawr and Dwygyfylchi, which should be able to cater for most people, or try taking a gentle evening stroll along the soft sandy beaches, looking out over the clear blue sea to Puffin Island and Anglesey and watching some of the most breathtaking sunsets. Our beach has been awarded the Blue Flag. A statue and bronze bust in the town commemorates former Prime Minister William Gladstone’s connection with Penmaenmawr. The original bust was stolen in 1977. A new bust, the work of local sculptor Peter London, a former resident of this house, replaced it in 1991. Local railway station and bus stops within walking distance. Also shops, library, restaurants, cafés, antique shops etc. We will be happy to give you further information. We always pay particular attention to hygiene and cleanliness. During this crisis extra sanitising measures will be taken and for your protection continental breakfast basics will be provided but not served..
