Single bed in a private room in a very clean and tidy, home shared with two professionals & our cat Moonie. Able to host up to 2 guests in this room. Ocean views from the front veranda, and a 3 mins drive to 4 different beaches. So no matter what the wind direction you can find a protected spot. Close to shops, cafes, 2 x live music venues, gym, Collegians Club, buses and the train. My husband & I occupy the other rooms as a office & our bedroom. This is the 3rd bedroom, which is 3.7m x 2.5m approx. (see Plan) It has a lockable door to the room has a generous antique wardrobe / storage (just for you), a work desk & 24in monitor with unlimited wifi. A lounge chair, plus plants too if you wish. It has one window, with Venetian blinds, looking out to greenery and the neighbours brick apartment The floor is quite new charcoal carpet, the paint is fresh taupe colour. Moonie cat shares all the space, is a super lovely 1yr old stray, she is well trained & will welcome you home without fail, & Roger is gorgeous medium size dog who lives outside. Both pets love to hang out with anyone and everyone & being petted. You have your own refrigerator/freezer located in the kitchen also cupboard/pantry spaces for your personal use. You will also have access to all our equipment for cooking, including, espresso machine, rice cooker, bread maker, slow cooker, cold press juicer, blender, dehydrator, plus the standard toaster, microwave & kettle kitchen appliances. Also a garment steamer & iron. Kitchen, Dining, Living, Sunny Patio, Front Garden, Laundry, Backyard, My husband is a architect & currently works from home 2days a week & spends 3days in Syd. I work 5 days at a local private dental practice. So we are available to help to make your stay comfortable & welcoming. Port Kembla is a hidden gem- albeit quite quirky. It has a healthy emerging hipster vibe with grassroots arts and cafe vibe. It’s super friendly, like a country town. We go down to escape the Sydney crowds. The beaches are uncrowded! Our house is a classic 1950’s fibro house, in a very clean and tidy condition with newly renovated bathroom and a 1980’s Italian-style kitchen. Good induction stove, good fridge. No dishwasher. Fully fenced. Pet-friendly (outside) _only 1:30hr drive from Syd CBD. _Quiet area for street parking. _ Collegians club 150m away. (Cheap meals & drinks) _ Food Truck Servo 200m away (Local food trucks and local music family friendly scene) _ big gym 250m away. _ hip cafes, numerous pubs, shops, artists & crafts studios, street art, Art Deco Architectural facades all in Wentworth Street which crosses our street - 5-10mins walk. _ Train station to Sydney is about 10mins walk. $8.50 1.5-2hrs to central. _Buses right near. _ Watch whales from “Hill 60” (WW2 heritage gun emplacements) (5mins drive) _ Awesome weekend market in the park near Bunnings Warrawong (5mins drive) _ Nan Tien temple is worth a relaxed visit (10min drive) _Short very pleasant ride /drive to the hinterlands (Southern Highlands) Bowral plus South Coast destinations etc This is a 3 bedroom house.
