The Rustic Run Cabin located in Warren County, Pennsylvania, surrounded by Timberlands, State and National Forests. Rustic Run is a perfect cabin getaway for couples, families, and groups of friends searching for a relaxing vacation or ideal lodging close to many outdoor adventures! Open year-round. We welcome well behaved, mature and non-destructive dogs. Two dogs is our limit. There is an extra $50 pet fee per stay. Also, there is an additional $350 refundable pet deposit. Upon entering the front door of the cabin, guests will walk into a spacious entryway area and the family room. The entryway area includes a couple of seats to take your shoes off and several hooks with a closet area (under the steps) to hang your belongings. The family room features a large, natural stone fireplace and a large picture window that overlooks the woods and parking area. Just past the family room is a fully stocked kitchen, gas stove with a griddle top perfect for cooking delicious meals, microwave, oven, wine chiller, coffee maker, toaster, drinking water dispenser, full-size fridge/freezer combo, double sink with hot water heater and all the standard cookware. Past the kitchen on the lower level is a dining room with a small bar, a large dining table and seating for meals and games. The dining room has many windows overlooking the creek running in the backyard and a door leading out to the fire pit area and bridge to the forest. Next to the dining room is a bedroom with a rustic log queen bed. The room also has a dresser and end table. A bathroom is located just feet away from the bedroom and kitchen area. This *newly remodeled bathroom* has a toilet, sink, and beautiful slate-tile shower. Adjacent to the front entryway is a staircase to the second story. Triple-den beds adorn the main hallway of the upstairs space. A fishing-themed twin bunk room and winter-sports themed bedroom with a queen bed are both found upstairs. Also, a rustic bathroom with modern touches is on the upper level. A small hallway upstairs leads to an upper deck area that overlooks the forest on three sides and a shallow stream that feeds the Allegheny River. We sacrificed limited floor space to fit queen beds in both the upstairs and downstairs rooms. There is only one end table in these rooms and not a lot of room to move around. The common living areas offer more room to move around and gather. Other Information to Note: Keep in mind that this is a cabin in the Allegheny National Forest. THE FOREST IS YOUR BACKYARD! There are many oil and gas wells on the road utilizing natural resources. Occasional smell of gas and crude oil may occur. There can also be logging in the area that is beyond our control. Also, you are living amongst deer, turkey, foxes, coyotes, porcupines, hawks, owls, chipmunks, squirrels, mice, and black bears. Sightings and visits are possible during your stay. There is currently No WiFi at Rustic Run, but the cell service using Verizon towers is good. Other cell phone providers work well at the end of the road or take a short hike to the mountain ridge in the backyard. Even though well water is filtered and softened. Bottled water is recommended during your stay. Water has a sulfur smell that comes and goes depending, season and water temperature.
