LUMIERE - Spacious large Balcony, Light apartment!

This elegant large two double bedroom apartment in the central Carré D'Or neighbourhood, just seconds from the seafront and with a large balcony is perfect for making the most of the charms of Nice. Full of light and sunshine on the second floor, and with the added comforts of a lift and air conditioning, Lumière has been beautifully decorated to bring a touch of style to your stay on the Côte d'Azur. Please note there are renovation works on the floor above until Jan 2020. Apartment size: 61sqm Bedrooms Lumière offers two double bedrooms, both with French windows opening out onto the balcony. They have wall-mounted bedside lamps, plenty of storage and benefit from air conditioning for sultry summer nights. Bathrooms The mosaic detail shower has an additional rain shower attachment for extra indulgence, and there is a basin with storage unit to keep things tidy. There is an additional shower room with basin. There is 1 toilet at Lumiere, completely separate from the shower rooms. Living / Dining Area The Matisse-inspired living area has two armchairs, a sofa bed, and south-facing French windows to welcome in the sunshine. For home entertainment there is a TV with French and English channels, a DVD player, music system and wifi. The dining area fits neatly between the open-plan kitchen and lounge, with a large dining table to comfortably seat to up 7 people. Kitchen Lumière has a stylish and fully-equipped kitchen, offering you the convenience of a dishwasher and microwave, as well as an electric oven with 4 hobs. There is also a washing machine and laundry equipment. The official check in time is 3.00pm. The official check out time is 10.30am. Early Check In... We try to be as flexible as possible and if you arrive early and the property is free and prepared we can check you in early. If this is before 9.00am there is a 30 Euro surcharge. If your property is mid-preparation we will let you drop your luggage at your property and let you know as soon as it is ready. Late Check In... Please note for guest arrivals at all accommodation there is a 30 Euro charge for arrivals between 9pm and before 10.30pm and a 50 Euro charge for arrivals between 10.30pm and midnight. (Unfortunately we cannot waiver this fee for any type of delay including delayed flights and traffic issues) Please note we cannot accept arrivals after 12.00am/ midnight. In the case of delayed flights please inform us if you cannot arrive within the check-in time limit of 12.00 am/ midnight and we will arrange to meet you at a convenient time the next morning. PLEASE NOTE: Your Nice Apartment can provide a letter for your insurance company stating you could not spend the first night in your booked accommodation due to an unacceptably delayed flight. Notify us of your arrival time... Please note: you must inform your Local Manager of you arrival time within 48 hours of arriving by inputting this in the Guest Lounge or by emailing. You must notify your Local Manager if you intend to change your arrival time. If you do not notify your Manager of a change of arrival time a 30 Euro surcharge will apply at your meet and greet. Late Check Out... Again, if we do not have an arrival that day or we do not need immediate access to prepare the accommodation for the next guest we allow you to check out at your leisure that day. If you do not check out at the specified time please understand there will be a £30 charge. Please Note: If a guest does not pay the surcharge for a late or early arrivalat check in then this amount will be charged to your credit card plus a £15 administration fee.If you do not check out at the specified time then the surcharge will be automatically be charged to your credit card. Arrivals after midnight... Please note we cannot accept arrivals after 12.00am/ midnight. In the case of delayed flights please inform us if you cannot arrive within the check-in time limit of 12.00 am/ midnight and we will arrange to meet you at a convenient time the next morning. If you are arriving to Nice airport then we advise you to book at the airport hotel ETAP. This is across the road from the airport and you should not need a taxi. (Please be aware taxis can be difficult to obtain at very late hours in the night) We recommend you goto the ETAP website and print their details in case of an emergency arising. DETAILS OF EMERGENCY HOTEL Informing us of your arrival time... You will receive an email with a link to our Guest Lounge where you can set your unique password. Click on the link or copy and paste the link into your browser. You can then advise us of your arrival time. Getting the address and keys to your property... You will also recieve an arrival email which will have the address of your chosen property and the Managers name and contact number who will meet you at check in. We ask you to complete and submit in plenty of time so we know what time you want to check in. The Local Manager will meet you at the property and give you a warm and informative welcome to your new home and to the local area. Then we hand over the keys and let you enjoy your stay. Our host was super friendly & a breeze to co-ordinate arrival and departure. 10/10. The Carré D'Or, or Golden Square, is the Belle Epoque quarter of the city. Grand apartment buildings, ornate façades and echo’s of the city's late 19th century heyday abound. Less than a 2-minute walk to the beach and you can stroll along the Promenade des Anglais past the magnificent Hotel Negresco, still the place to see and be seen. Today this much sought-after, largely residential neighbourhood offers a wealth of local shops, with butchers and bakers among the many local conveniences, and no end of cafés and restaurants to choose from. The 98 airport bus runs from the airport to the centre of Nice. Get off at bus stop 'Congrés/Promenade' and you are a 4-minute walk from the apartment. Gare SNCF Nice Ville train station is a 12-minute walk and will take you on day trips all over the region, and there are numerous buses going either west (rue de la Buffa), or east (rue du Maréchal Joffre) within a few minutes walk from your front door. One of our local experts will meet you at the apartment or a choice of locations near by, take you to the apartment to hand over your keys and answer any questions on the apartment and local area you may have.
