Luxury Yurt in boutique style at FarmGlamping

Modern Kyrgyz yurt where you can experience the benefit of living in a round space...a heavenly experience! Summer and winter. Attractive and unique with a lot of comfort and luxury. Glamping has never been so wonderful and romantic! Yurt Venus is one of the two yurts of this yurt retreat. Here you can isolate yourself from the outside world for a while to unwind and to let all daily things be a little different. It will do you good to stay in a yurt: an 'interlude of daily life'! Yurt Venus is located in the farthest corner of the meadow of a FarmGlamping. It is a 300 meters walk from the parking lot to the yurt. Wide view from a cosy terrace with dining table and lounge chairs. Lots of privacy. Toilet and a luxurious wooden shower cabin are just outside the door on the terrace…the ultimate glamping experience! The unique and attractive décor make this a yurt-sized-dream-house! The wood stove will keep you warm, soft lights and candles for romance and all the necessities for a comfortable stay. Fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, fridge and hot water, games, inspiring books, aroma diffuser and bluetooth speaker. A queensize bed with luxurious linen bedding and extra pillows in beautiful colors. Lovely soft towels, bathrobes, kitchen linen and extra blankets available. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion and also basics such as toilet paper, candles, coffee, tea, sugar, oil, herbs and spices. Everything ECO-friendly! There is a dining table and a nice sitting area by the wood stove. This stove heats the yurt very well, even in freezing cold weather! Firewood is included. In summer a fan and mosquito net are provided. It is simply indescribably how it feels to stay in a yurt, you simply have to experience it yourself! NOTE: Thanks to the woodstove it will be comfortable even in freezing cold weather. As far as water is concerned during winter: precautions have been taken to ensure that there is water in the yurt. But in case of persistent frost, there is a chance that the outdoor shower is out of use due to the necessary disconnection of the tap to prevent it from freezing. The kitchen is fully equipped. But cooking outside is also possible. You can rent the ‘Petromax Atago’which is a BBQ annex fire bowl. Everything you’ll need is included: briquettes, wood, tools and Dutch Oven (cast iron pan). After cooking you can use the Atago as a fire bowl to enjoy the evening by a fire. Exploring the area is the most fun by bike: seeing the beautiful IJssel or shopping at one of the local farm shops or the local supermarket. There are nice villages, towns, estates and castles to visit. Zutphen, Doesburg and Doetinchem are nearby. Or the idyllic town called Bronkhorst, the smallest town in the Netherlands. All kinds of activities to undertake. Walking and cycling routes directly from the farm grounds. Bicycles can be rented on request. FarmGlamping 'de Scheurwei' is a mini campsite from April to October at a Dutch farm in the ‘Achterhoek’. The yurts are there all year round. Upon arrival please park on the central parkinglot in front of the farmhouse. From there it is about 300 meters walk through the meadow to Yurt Venus. The ground can be wet and muddy, it is wise to bring boots or walking shoes. Soon there will be facilities to transport luggage. It is not allowed to go to the yurt by car, you will get stuck in the mud. Public transportation to the location is limited. I live not far from the yurt location and am usually available when needed. Celestial Living Yurt Retreat is located on the grounds of FarmGlamping DeScheurwei / Meat Farm Garritsen. A few days before arrival you will receive exact directions where to park and how to get to the yurt. Public transport is limited. From Station Zutphen or Station Doetinchem runs once every hour Arriva Bus 82, get off at bus stop Covik in Baak, then another 20 minutes walk. For up-to-date information, check 9292.nl or the NS app. Of course you can bring your own bikes, but that's such a hassle! I offer unique and sustainably produced Roetz Bikes. With 3-speed, shopping basket, phone holder, Axa lock and lighting. As comfortable and luxurious as this yurt is furnished.....a yurt still remains a tent. All sounds from outside such as wind, rain and birds are audible. You will be in the middle of the farmland and you will feel at one with nature and the elements. All other sounds of the farmland are part of that. Occasionally there is sown, harvesting, mowing or there are other activities. These are certainly not continuously present sounds. Unfortunately, there is no set agenda for this, everything depends on the 'elements'. A few times a year the farmglamping site is used as an event site. There are some traces of it visible, but you do not suffer from it in and around the yurt. Due to the round shape, a yurt does not suffer from strong winds. It is safe but also a little adventurous to stay in it. The door of the yurt is massive with double glazing and can be locked.
