Albignasego is a nice and small town close to Padua (15 minutes drive or 20 by tram). In Albignasego you can find shops, restaurants, ice cream shops and plenty of bars to drink the original italian Aperitif. Its a strategic location for visiting Venice, Verona, Vicenza, Padua and the famous Abano and Montegrotto Terme. Colli Euganei are close and a nice place to have a walk. If you don't have a car there is a bus station just 300mt from the house that is taking you to Padua city centre and to the main train station. If you can drive, by the highway Padua is just 5 min far away.
