JUST ADDED TO AIRBNB It has Lakes, mountains and beaches all just a few minutes drive away. A perfect base for a Lake District adventure. Hoad View Cottage is perfectly placed on the edge of The Lake District in the quaint market town of Ulverston, 15 minutes from both Coniston Water and the shores of Windermere. There is a great selection of bars, cafes, shops and restaurants just a few minutes walk away. The property has fibre broadband, on street parking and a smart TV The charming terrace cottage has 2 bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children it can sleep 4 adults but it might be a bit cosy due to the size. PLEASE NOTE the second bedroom is on the third floor and not suitable for young children or those with mobility issues, due to the original staircase being steep and narrow. All bedding and towels are provided, it comes with all you need for your stay. There is a log burner in the living room (fire wood for the first fire provided more can be bought locally) but if it’s too warm for that then there is an outdoor seating area with a bbq ideal for alfresco dining or simply having an evening drink. Inside there is a kitchen that has all the necessities for preparing meals, it has a fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and a nespresso coffee machine. Moving through to the lounge and dining area, the dining table has views over to Hoad Monument as do both bedrooms, there is fibre broadband, a smart TV and a PS3 to keep younger guests entertained. On the first floor there is a new bathroom and a double bedroom, to the top floor there is a large bedroom with twin beds if needed it can be changed into a super king. If staying with babies or children we can supply travel cots, high chairs, toys, games and if there is anything else you may need while staying just ask and we will do all we can to provide it. When you arrive there will be a small selection of goodies waiting for you such as milk, tea, coffee, eggs and wine, if you want anything getting for a special occasion from champagne to an afternoon tea then just let us know and we will do all we can to make your stay a memorable one. I do accept dogs but due to the size of the property and small area outside, it’s only really suitable for small dogs or ones that don’t require a lot of outdoor space. Ulverston is a hidden jewel of South Lakes, it has everything you need without the crowds of other Lake District towns. Ulverston train station is a 10 minute walk away, there’s a bus stop 5 minutes walk away.
