The comfy room is a above a contemporary art gallery. The secure private room has an ensuite, fan and aircon and a comfy queen size bed, a bar fridge, tea & coffee, a microwave and free WIFI. The room also provides an adjacent lounge room with TV & books for your private use. Walk along the new Honeysuckle Boardwalk to all the best restaurants and nightclubs in the innercity or access shops and beaches. (Walk-30min, Bike-15min, Car-5min. ) Great little coffee shops less than 5min walk away. If your looking for a unique experience, this large room is above a contemporary art gallery in Newcastle in a warehouse conversion on the fringe of the busy Newcastle harbour. If you are looking for a unique, safe, and friendly place to stay, this is the place to be. Enjoy breakfast at one of the many local cafes. Enjoy the proximity to the City and all the local beaches. Access to your room upstairs is via the downstairs gallery only. NO private access. The accommodation is a private room, you also have sole access to an adjacent lounge area complete with Tv, reading material etc. Your room has a toilet and shower open EURO style. (see images)...You can also access the 2nd main and larger bathroom and toilet downstairs if this is not suitable. The room is private and well away from the downstairs gallery. An art opening showcasing a local prominent artist(s) is conducted every two weeks usually on a Friday from 6pm to 8pm or Saturday at 2pm to 4pm. You are most welcome to join the gathering for free drinks and finger food if your stay coincides with the fun event. The room is located near the innercity area of Newcastle, and is close to its beautiful beaches, restaurants, cafes, pubs and night clubs the city has to offer. Newcastle has an abundance of art galleries, museums and historical landmarks that can be easily accessed via walking or cycling. Local public transport is also within walking distance. Take a leisurely walk to many local tourist and historical sights. The accommodation is within Newcastle's inner city zone and there is train link from the Newcastle interchange or Hamilton train station to Sydney and the north coast/ Upper Hunter. Light rail access takes you right through the CBD and ends at Newcastle beach. Bikes (electric )are available for hire close by in Honeysuckle and the bike path can take you on many adventures to scenic and gourmet excursions. The Pacific Hwy is close by and the airport is approximately 20 mins drive. There are shuttle services to and from the airport or there are taxis/Uber for hire. The inner city is easy to walk or cycle around. Public transport is conveniently located close to your accommodation (10 -15min walk ) buses and light rail tram at Newcastle Interchange (15min walk) and Hamilton train station nearby (9min walk). Cycling is easy and safe using existing cycle lanes. Whilst your room is private and secure and you have full use of the adjacent lounge room, this AirBNB/accommodation is shared with the host. On street parking is free. Driveway to be kept clear for owner access only. Bathroom ensuite is open 'European' style. Steep stairs up to your room. WiFi is unlimited and available at most times. No Downstairs Kitchen access is allowed. Your room has a fridge, microwave and kettle with tea and coffee and Basic cutlery and bowls/plates.
