LEAHS HOUSE . This house is available for winter bookings Situated in the heart of the traditional picturesque village of Nymfes in the hills of the north of Corfu , a fifty minute drive from the airport this house is ideally situated for beautiful walks , bike riding or just relaxing and taking in the experience of typical village life. A short ten minute drive takes you to the breathtaking beaches of Roda , Acharavi and Sidari plus many others in the North with their clear turquoise water A modern village house with 3 floors fully furnished for a comfortable stay. The ground floor contains the entrance and the wooden staircase to the first floor. The large bedroom , bathroom and fully equipped kitchen with views of nearby hills, are in this large area , the wooden stairs take you to the 50 sq mtr attic lounge / dining area with patio doors overlooking the valley of Nymfes. The lounge is comfortably furnished with sofas inc. a bed settee ( sleeps 1) if needed . There is a TV for your enjoyment. A well stocked book library is available for you during your stay. The patio doors lead to a small Juliet balcony to take in the views of the village and surrounding hillside. I am only a phone call away and a 15 minute drive from the property if you have any queries during your stay. Transfer to and from the airport can be arranged for an addition price if required. A welcome pack is available on arrival. The village of Nymfes lies in the North of Corfu , only 4kms from the nearest beach, minutes away from numerous walks and lies in a breathtaking area ideal for bike riding . Situated just 1km from Nymfes are the waterfalls , although dry throughout the summer months are dramatic and spectacular in the early and late season. The village itself is a year round village staying open throughout the year ,a kafeneon ( local greek bar ) is nearby as is the bakery. Around the corner is a well stocked small supermarket and 2/3 grill rooms in the village to keep you of the kitchen. Although many places around the village are accessible by walking / cycling having your own transport, ie. A car, scooter or quad would be recommended for those longer journeys exploring this lovely island. Parking is restricted outside the property due to the narrow streets , the parking area is a 5 minute walk through the twisty narrow passages of the village. Public transport is available to and from the village with 2 services per day ( except Sunday). Due to the steps through the village and the stairs in the property it is unfortunately not recommended for people with walking difficulties.
