Panoramic Hudson River views; walk 3 mins to DIA, 5 to the train, and 10 to Main St. Private first floor apartment of a 2 story house, has basics stocked kitchen, modern dining / living area with sleep sofa, and elegant Queen bedroom with wildflowers mural, & marble shower bath. Only Long Dock Park between you & Hudson River & miles of hills. Recently renovated with creative touches of local artist host, who resides upstairs with separate entrance. Really the most stunning 200 degree views of the Hudson valley and river from windows or patio. Artist host designed and made chandeliers, gilded glass, pictorial outbuilding. The first floor private 2 entrances has one large room for kitchen, dining, living and the river entrance goes to a patio overlooking the river and hills. The second floor exterior entrance is separate up the deck steps, so patio may have a walk-by for second floor access. Inside, the steps are closed by a panel at the top of the stairs. I am upstairs in my apartment at random times, gone at random times, but usually near my phone! Beacon is on the corner of I-84 and the Hudson River. The immediate neighborhood is residential, with amenities (Train, museum, Main St) within walking distance. The river on one side gives immediate views, walking paths, kayak rental, sailing; the mile long Main St offers Culinary Institute grad chefs, galleries and shops, and at the other end of Main are mountains with Mt. Beacon Park and some trails. A steep climb will get you 360 degree views- on a clear day you can see NYC. We have a free bus loop, the train is a few minutes' walk, and you can call ride services. There are lots of glasses, plates, platters and trays for entertaining. You are welcome to use ingredients that are found in the cupboards.
