Our house is 5 minutes’ walk away from the busy Central Avenue area in West Bridgford and from the Trent Bridge cricket ground. Central Avenue is full of bars, restaurants and a few shops. Lady Bay is part of West Bridgford, a leafy quiet suburb of Nottingham. It’s a very family oriented area right by the river Trent and local parks and nature reserves. Great views and close to the countryside, Holme Pierrepont watersports centre, Trent Bridge cricket ground and both Nottingham Forest and Notts County football grounds and Central Avenue's café culture in West Bridgford. We also have a lovely local pub (The Poppy and Pint) and The Lady Bay pub that both serve food and a selection of real ale and craft beers (both walkable). Please help yourself to tea of coffee provided in the room. You will find fresh milk in the fridge in the kitchen (I will leave a jug out). If you would like a light breakfast (toast, jam, marmalade, tea/fresh coffee, orange juice and cereals) this can be ordered at £5 per person per day, payable in cash before you check out. Please let me know when you check in if you would like this. There is extensive free parking on our quiet residential street and usually a space very nearby. We are 1 minutes walk from the nearest bus stop which is well served, a short walk to many local facilities. Please enquire about accommodating bicycles. Please be aware we have a cat (Max) and a dog (Lottie). The cat is timid and unlikely to interact with you and they do not access your floor of the house but if you have severe allergies you should be aware of his presence downstairs (he is usually outside). Our dog is small and very friendly and stays downstairs. She may bark when you arrive to say hello. Occasionally I have friends dogs to visit too.
