Stunning Architectural Villa in Quiet Umalas

Dive into the long, sparkling pool of this contemporary home by well-known architect Fredo Taffin, with its separate pavilions for sleeping and living. Access is via a long driveway beside a rice field, with 24-hour security at the entrance, ensuring idyllic privacy. The home is very peaceful and welcoming, with two pavilions separating living and sleeping spaces. All rooms can be opened to enjoy the pool and garden, or closed and air conditioned. Beautiful local wood floors and cathedral ceilings create a relaxed beach holiday feeling with modern furniture and Indonesian artifacts. The spacious living area is perfect for entertaining with direct access to the fabulous 14.5m pool and lush tropical garden. Lounge on the deck chairs beside the pool while being soothed by the sound of trickling water from the fish pond, or enjoy cocktails and an evening swim in the softly lit pool. The house and garden are all yours to enjoy (excluding my separate private bedroom and bathroom). There are two stylish, king sized bedrooms opening directly to the garden and pool. Each bedroom has a large ensuite bathroom with double hand basins and views to the garden. The bedrooms are equipped with a TV, DVD and AC and a large wardrobe. All bedsheets, bathroom towels and pool towels are provided. For your clothes my staff will drop off and pick up your laundry at one of the cheap local laundries. Even though I will be travelling during your stay in my home I can be contacted by email, message or phone. I will be leaving you in the very capable hands of Putu who has looked after my homes for 10 years and speaks very good English. He can help you to enjoy your time here by arranging in-house massages, bike rental, car hire, anything you need. Umalas is seen as one of the safest and friendliest locales, with many Balinese living here and still growing rice. Yet the many trendy venues of Seminyak are just 10 minutes away, including the Ku De Ta beach club, designed by the same architect. Explore the growing cafe vibe of Berawa and Canggu, only 5 minutes ride on your motorbike. My Mazda car is available, with Putu driving, for a small fee. More details are in the house manual. If you decide to rent a car to drive yourself there is parking at the front door. It is normal in Bali to rent a car with a driver. Casual Transportation can be arranged by the security staff. Bike rental is available in front of the villa. Please be respectful of possible neighbours when playing loud music. Please don't smoke inside the rooms. Discounts apply for longer stays.
