Pair of Shepherds Huts Pontsticill, Brecon Beacons

Guests are booking both Shepherd's Huts, with cosy underfloor heating & have use of our pod too. Set close to the village of Pontsticill by the Taff Fechan Reservoir in The Brecon Beacons, within easy access of Bike Park Wales, Zip World Tower, Pen Y Fan & Waterfall Country. Walking, cycling & many other activities are available nearby, or just relax enjoying the wildlife & tranquillity, with a short walk to local pubs for meals & speciality ales. A unique getaway for families & couples alike! Together these pair of purpose designed shepherd’s huts & pod form a luxury glamping experience for up to FOUR people and are situated within a garden for guests' sole use, on a smallholding adjacent to The Taff Trail. Taff Shepherd’s hut comprises of a compact, yet fully equipped kitchen - oven, hob, microwave & fridge with small freezer section. It has a dining/seating area which is easily converted for sleeping with a comfortable, fully made up, drop-down double bed, plus a covered veranda. Both huts benefit from under-floor heating, so you are cosy throughout the year. Morlais Shepherd’s Hut accommodates a wet room and a double cabin-bed. New for December 2021 is our 'Cosy Cocoon' pod, with an extra 4ft double mattress, USB ports & solar lights, offering UP TO 4 guests alternative sleeping arrangements. The pod is unheated, although its tarp roof is insulated and cosy bedding is provided, but please be mindful of this during the coldest months. In the huts' private garden during the warmer months, you or your teenagers could sleep under the stars - with the pods unique roll-back roof. Including the pod, 3 comfortable double beds for our guests' use! The private pitch includes a non-slip decking area connecting both huts, a firepit and BBQ area, with a variety of quality outdoor cooking equipment, and an orchard garden and patio with outstanding views, and our two horses in the paddock as neighbours. Set close to the picturesque village of Pontsticill near the Taff Fechan Reservoir in The Brecon Beacons National Park. Within easy access of Bike Park Wales, Zip World Tower, Pen Y Fan, Waterfall Country, The Gower Peninsula, Cardiff & Swansea. Walking, cycling, fishing, kayaking and many other activities are available nearby, or just relax, enjoying the wildlife & tranquillity, with a short walk to the local pubs for meals & speciality ales. Just to clarify, up to 4 guests will be booking both Shepherd's huts and their garden for their sole use. They are connected by a private decking area. And the Cosy Cocoon pod available is for our guests too, offering alternative sleeping arrangements with a total of 3 double beds. This we hope will give guests more flexibility - for example teenagers who object to sharing - or simply to allow guests to sleep under the stars, if weather allows. :-)
