Le Mas de Mo, in the heart of the Verdon area

Welcome in an authentic and original house into the heart of a protected nature, in Provence, in the countryside of the Haut-Var and the Gorges du Verdon. You will be far from the city turpitude and will take advantage of a weather (almost) always brightened up in a wild and beautiful nature. At the foot of the Brouis, friendly mountain protecting it, the house is located near the castle of Bargème, the highest village of the Var, the typical medieval setting where you can learn to know this beautiful region and its inhabitants, welcomed in the Goustadou for a gourmet bivouac. The quite setting of the house, at the heart of the small hamlet of La Graou, will offer you its sight on these Provencal “restanques” (terraces fields), these green, peaceful hills and the tranquillity you can expect from. The house, with its lounge, its Provençal vast kitchen and its 4 rooms, can welcome two families or up to 8 people. Its thick stony walls will surround you with freshness the summer and will keep warm to you the winter. Its hillfolk and Provençal style decoration is however tinted with objects of the numerous journeys of Mo across the world which will embrace you into its unique atmosphere made of countries and countrysides. Not far from the house, the Farm of Saint-Pierre and its activities (pony, animals, workshops for the children) or the world-famous spot for paragliding of Lachens mountain will allow you to exercise or to discover the gliding. you can visit the Gorges du Verdon, the magnificent canyon digging the mountains, the ideal frame of unforgettable hikes and white waters activities, or also the lake of Sainte-Croix and its nautical activities and ‘farniente’. You will enjoy the astonishing landscapes from Castellane to Moustier-Sainte-Marie. Dear friends, welcome within this case which saw us growing up we are happy to share with you. The house made of thick stony walls, is three levels high. On the ground floor the lounge-dining room welcomes the family dinners or the evenings of relaxations. The adjacent kitchen, in the stone of a former cowshed is completely equipped, dishwasher, oven and microwave, and of course the refrigerator / freezer. The washing machine is also hidden in the toilet. This walk-in sets allows to take ideally advantage of outer spaces for the lunches and the dinners. On the first floor (or second floor for US), two rooms also. The big parental room, around 30m², with its impressive beams and its medieval windows will welcome with its double bed a couple and if needed a baby without any problem. Adjacent, behind a charming vault, a room for two children with two single bed which will allow all the family to accommodate. A bathroom common to all the housing, with a bathtub, is there also. On the second floor (or third floor for US) are two other rooms. One big room with a double bed and a smaller one with two twin beds, all allows to welcome a family or two couples. An old stone washbasin with its two taps and WC on the floor provide the necessary autonomy. A specific access from the outside to this level is also possible on request for even more autonomy. The outer places available with the rental are, one terrace under the shade of trees surrounded by the rest of walls of an ancient sheepfold. You will be able to use it for meals and barbecue for all your meals. At your full disposal during the rental, the garden located just below. It offers a privileged place for sunbath with its orientation, or rests under the shade of the grapevines, ideal place for a small baby pool and the family meal. The garden furnitures and barbecue are available for your private usage to enjoy here its unique viewpoint.
