The charming market and Antiques town of Petworth sits surrounded by the stunning scenery of the South Downs National Park. This small, picturesque town is a renowned center for art, culture and antiques, with an impressive range of art galleries based here, and over 40 antique dealers dotted along the enchanting streets and cobbled lanes, cheek to cheek with independent shops and boutiques, mouth-watering delicatessens, cafes and restaurants. Each year, the town hosts a series of events that make it a destination not to be missed; the Petworth Fringe and Petworth Music festival, the Petworth Literary Week which often features famous faces from the literary world, an ADFL Antiques & Fine Art Fair, and a Heritage Weekend.
