Thyme cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, stylish lounge/dining, large comfy bed and a clean, modern bathroom. It opens onto a semi-private courtyard with your own screened-off area furnished with a table, chairs and parasol to enjoy a long French lunch with a glass of fabulous Loire wine. Relax by the heated swimming pool, or enjoy the extensive manor house garden where you can cook a BBQ, play petanque, relax and socialize. The large manor-house garden is equipped with BBQs and outdoor furniture, and a lovely heated swimming pool with loungers and parasols is open in the warmer months. Borrow our bikes and tootle along our country lanes to visit local wineries and castles. Your hosts Sue and Martin live in the manor house and barring exceptional circumstances will be there to welcome you and advise you on local sights and activities. Bumblebee Manor (Manoir Bourdon) is a holiday destination 15 miles south of Saumur nestled within the Loire Valley Natural Park. Enter through the secure gates to a peaceful haven from the tourist traffic.
