La Grande Baudonniere: A great house in the woods

La Grande Baudonniere hosts 9 people comfortably with all modern amenities in a classical wood handcrafted Percheron style. The WiFi connected house sits on a wooden area with closed gates. The main room is a vast space with desk, bar, large fireplace, several Roset sofas and chairs. Oak beam ceilings in every room. Kitchen and separate laundry room are fully equipped with new appliances. A welcoming housekeeper will be ready to greet you. Electronically operated doors at both pathway entrances of the property, built on a very quiet and calm forest area. Birds, rabbits, red squirrels and even deer cohabit the space. From a terrace at the back of the house, enjoy sunny sunsets. The property sits on 2.5 acres, with easily walkable pathways. Enough room is available to park several cars. The house is fresh in the Summer, warm in cold weather. An electric heating system is easy to set-up separately in each room, complimentary wood logs can be used at your convenience in the large fireplace. A helper will be on call for any problem, question or need that you may have. The owners will be reachable by email and ready to answer all your questions in French or English. The house sits in a countryside environment, with a farm and house at the back of the property, no direct neighbors. You will not see any building from the property, which is surrounded by woods on one side, fields on two sides, and a road in the front. The closest village, Unverre, is less than 2 miles away. The little town of Brou is at 3.5 miles, with all amenities and shops that you may need, including 2 pharmacies, 1 dentist, 5 restaurants and a caterer. An entrance to highway #10 at Luigny is 4.5 miles from the property. Paris center is 90mn away by this highway. Le Mans is 45mn to the west by the same highway. Versailles can be reached by highway #10 in 60mn. The train station in nearby Brou is 4 miles away, a major train station in Chartres is at 28 miles. Orleans is 50 miles to the south east, Tours is 68 miles to the south west. Normandy beaches are a 2hr drive to the north. The Loire Valley castles, wineries, restaurants, hotels and more, are a 1-3 hr drive away. St Malo and Mont St Michel are a 3hr drive to the north west, Brittany is a 4-5hr drive to the west.
