Lovely Private Room in Amlwch on Anglesey
You will be staying in a beautiful bungalow on the outskirts of the coastal town of Amlwch which is only five minutes away by car. There is a comfy double bedroom with bed and sofa. A real home from home. The bathroom is located next door to the bedroom and is for guest use only. I have a fridge for guests use and supply basic crockery/cutlery. Amlwch has a selection of lovely takeaways and there is a hotel and Indian restaurant within walking distance. Garden patio relax and watch the sunset. Home from home, quiet rural yet close to amenities. Good parking ideal base to explore our lovely Island. Lovely comfortable double bedroom with space to relax and watch tv. Sofa and a view of the field at the back of the property. Private bathroom for guest use only. Access to fridge for guest use and I am happy to supply crockery/cutlery. Garden and patio with furniture to relax and enjoy. I prefer by telephone don’t hesitate in contacting me prior to your visit if I can be of any assistance. Lovely and peaceful ;lovely country walks to enjoy. Car parking right outside safe in a cul de sac. Bring your cycle and discover the local cycle routes. I will happily store your cycle in a safe place. Restaurants / Takeaways A local restaurant serving delicious home cooked food is only a 2 minute walk away. 1 Indian restaurant and 2 Chinese takeaways are located in Amlwch town. Kebab house serving lovely kebabs and fish and chips. Local pub ‘The Adelphi Vaults’ serving a multitude of different pies with mash and peas. A café is located opposite to St. Eleth Church within the town itself that offers beautiful home cooked food and the famous ‘Mega Breakfast’. Amlwch and Amlwch Port Amlwch is situated on the north-eastern corner of Anglesey. Amlwch is a small town with a history of working traditions. A visit to the copper mine at Parys Mountain is highly recommended. This copper mine was once one of the world’s largest copper mine where copper was exported to the world. Amlwch Industrial Heritage Trust can be contacted for further information about this unique spot. A favourite walk is along the coast from Point Lynas to Amlwch Port where the harbour is located. Amlwch is 15 miles away from Holyhead Ferries that operate daily to Dublin. A day trip to sample the wonderful Dublin is easily achievable. Bull Bay Bull Bay golf club is only 5 minutes away by car. It has an 18-hole championship course laid out above the rugged coastline on the beautiful island of Anglesey. Panoramic views over the isle of Anglesey to the mountains of Snowdonia or over the Irish Sea towards the Isle of Man. There is also a unique rocky beach situated at the bay itself. Llaneilian This is a stunning coastal village on Anglesey’s north-western coast with a unique rocky beach (brilliant for sailing or even tucking into a picnic). 2 miles away east of Amlwch lies Point Lynas Lighthouse. This Lighthouse is truly picturesque allowing stunning views to be seen of the south of the island. Cemaes Bay 10 minutes by car, lies a pretty harbour along with a great sandy beach and a fabulous coastal walk. The beach is perfect for sailing and surfing/windsurfing. Daily trips by boat can be booked to go fishing as well as spotting porpoises. Benllech This is another highly popular large coastal village. The selling point is its beach - which was the winner of the European Blue Flag Award in 2004. Approximately 8 miles away from Amlwch, a 15-minute drive is all it takes. Red Wharf Bay This is a wide sandy bay which is an area of outstanding beauty. Beautiful panoramic views that be observed whilst sipping on a glass of wine from its unique eateries. Approximately a 5-minute drive from Benllech (20 from Amlwch), it would be a shame to miss. Beaumaris Situated at the entrance to the Menai Strait, offering breathtaking views of the North Wales’ mountain range. The castle is a true land mark. Fine restaurants and unique shops as well as daily boat trips to the famous ‘Puffin Island’. Approximately a 25 minute’s drive from Amlwch. Trearddur Bay / Rhosneigr Beautiful beaches. A surfer’s paradise.
