Homely double room in great location of Edinburgh (Blackhall) -free parking on site, easy access to the city centre, close to parks, shops, amenities and direct bus from airport. Non-smoking. *** Due Covid we cannot offer the room as quarantine space because is share accommodation with our family and son with medical needs *** Private double room with a king size bed (american Queen), desk clothes rail and shelves. The house is shared with my family, husband, 3 boys and a very friendly and sociable cat. The front entry has accessible ramp for wheelchair users and also we have a mobile hoist in the house. Shared spaces are open plan bright kitchen that can be used freely, breakfast is included (tea, coffee, milk toast, butter, Jam and cereal) but for any other meal you are welcome to bring your own or prepare it, I love to cook home made meals so if you like me to make for you as well I would be happy but at an extra affordable cost. Washing and dryer machines are in the kitchen area for your use. The living room is cosy and comfortable, and guests are welcome to use the TV. WiFi included. We have a very nice a big garden (West facing) that has plenty of sun (whether permitting) and a bbq that can be use. Happy to help in any possible way and also if you like to plan a trip around I would be happy to be your guide and drive you (at an extra affordable cost) This is a quiet residential area but with great access to different parts of the city. There is a park at the bottom of the street and Ravelston Woods to explore. Access to Corstorphine Hill and walk path. Not too far from 2 Museums (Dean Gallery and National Modern Art) There are buses direct to the city centre (through Princess Street and going to Royal Mile), buses to Cramond and South Queensferry where you can enjoy beautiful views. There is a direct line to the Airport (#200) and the same line goes to the main shopping Mall (Ocean Terminal) where you can visit the Royal Yacht Britannia. There are 2 golf courses around that allows visitors paying a fee. Botanical Gardens are only 15 minutes by car, Murrayfield Rugby Stadium, Dean Village, Water of Leith, Museum of Modern Art and Dean Gallery are at walking distance or short car ride. Public Library is a walking distance. Pharmacy and some take away are 0.25 mile away. Big Supermarket and retail park a mile away. For arrivals after 7 please enquiry first - No check In after 10pm
