La Petite Maison at Pont Blanchard is tucked away in an idyllic valley approximately 1km from the pretty médiéval town of Pleaux. In the foothills of the monts du Cantal it is a perfect location to discover this beautiful area. With its lakes, forests and mountains the area is truely stunning. La petite maison is comfortably furnished and full of rustic charm with à cantou fire place and oak floors. The kitchen is equipped with a gas cooker, microwave, and fridge. Outside is a barbeque. La petite maison Pont Blanchard is comfortably furnished and full of rustic charm . There are two double bedrooms both with queen beds and the possibilty of a single bed in the largest double . The chalet offers twin beds .You can relax by the wood burning stove (all wood included for your stay - we leave a contribution box at your discretion) after walking in the beautiful countryside . The monts de Cantal are breathtaking with numerous walks and VTT trails. The area is perfect for hiking and a nature lovers paradise, with deer, sanglier, birds of prey and owls to name a few . The cottage is exclusively for the use of our guests . The cottage and chalet which are very charming can comfortably sleep six with the possibility of an extra single bed in the largest bedroom. The garden is fully enclosed and there is a field behind the house that belongs to the house. There are walking trails outside the gates that offer access to the woods. We live close by and can be contacted by telephone. We leave guests alone to relax and enjoy the cottage. Pleaux is a pretty médiéval town with all amenities. There is a supermarket, bank, post office, bars and restaurants and a sélection of other shops.The market is twice monthly. The Dordogne river is close, perfect for canoeing and there are numerous walks and VTT trails all over the area. Lac Enchanet is a 15 minute drive away offering wonderful swimming and kayaking . Our two 2 person kayaks are located there and can be hired on a daily basis. This is a really stunning area for nature lovers and will provide everything for a fantastic, relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings. We can offer kayak hire . We have 2, 2 person kayaks for hire with paddles and life jackets available. The kayaks are located at lac Enchanet and if you fancied hiring them we can deliver the paddles and life jackets to you.
