A charming mid terrace period house in a small village in Somerset, with easy access to the A303 and 15 National Trust properties within a 15 mile radius. This characterful property offers traditional charm with an enclosed garden, 4 separate living areas and a large kitchen diner with bi-fold doors. Within a few minute's walk there is a large park, pub and deli, the whole house is tastefully decorated with a feature open fireplace and exposed beams, ideal for relaxing and unwinding. Set in a picturesque little village in South Somerset, the property offers generous accommodation throughout with 2 extremely comfortable superking size beds and another double. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor living space and the local park is easy walking distance, perfect for off lead dog walking, tennis, all balls sports and children's play park. Kitchen/diner The kitchen is extremely well equipped with brand new dishwasher, gas hob and oven. Adjacent to the kitchen there is a utility room with brand new washing machine and dryer. 4 Reception Rooms There are 4 living areas in addition to the kitchen. All open plan, each room can be used to suit your needs. There is an open fire place, perfect for cosy nights in. Outdoors Patio outdoor dining with walled enclosed garden. You can park on the road side directly outside the property. Any questions- please just (Hidden by Airbnb) either of us during your stay. Somerset has much to offer and is perfectly located for a varied and interesting holiday to suit everyone. The village is less that 5 miles away from the Somerset Cider Brandy Company and Burrow Hill Cider run by the Temperley family. The Jurassic Coast is only 45 minutes away with wonderful coastal walks whatever the time of year. Bridport Market every Saturday with a large antique centre make a good stop off en route to the coast. Lyme Regis, Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove, Dorchester, Sherborne and Weymouth are also well worth a visit. River Cottage the home of Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall runs two excellent festivals in on the May & August Bank Holidays. There are numerous National Trust properties nearby including Montacute, Barrington Court, Muchelney Abbey, Tintinhull Gardens, Lytes Cary and Stourhead. Kilver Court Designer Village, Mulberry Factory Shop and Clark’s Village for those wishing to shop and we are just an hour away from Bath. Yeovil and Crewkerne are both a 10 minute drive away offering a range of high street stores and supermarkets. There are numerous excellent pubs and independent shops in the local villages. Within 10mins there is an award winning farm shop and cafe as well as a butcher, baker, deli and greengrocer. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Parking is directly outside the property. Towels are provided. There is also a towel and 2 dogs bowls. We can be flexible on trip length/pricing if you contact the host with your specific requirements.
