LAYOUT OF THE CHATEAU Meticulously restored according to ancient techniques, and combining ancient charm and modernity, the château is now habitable and provides unparalleled comfort to its travellers. Its fireplaces, beams, stonework, works of art, chandeliers and period furniture will not fail to impress you during your stay. Its various lounges will not lack space for your group and will offer you various convivial corners of relaxation throughout your stay. Its fully equipped kitchen surrounded by beautiful stone arches will allow you to eat and cook perfectly if you wish. LOCATION Nearby Libourne (25 km), a tourist town with a rich cultural and architectural heritage, the names of the surrounding vineyards, some of the most famous in the world, will ring in the ears of wine lovers: notably Saint-Emilion, Pomerol, Pécharmant and Lalande de Pomerol. Not far from there, every summer, hundreds of volunteer actors commemorate the final battle of the Hundred Years' War, which took place on 17 July 1453, in a unique show in the region. The Battle of Castillon has become the most popular cultural event in Aquitaine. FACILITIES & SERVICES The services available are numerous, notably thanks to the swimming pool and the parking space in front of the castle, which can accommodate several vehicles.
