Apartment located in a residential complex with extensive gardens, two swimming pools and a bar-restaurant with varied menus. The room comes with a bathroom for the exclusive use of the guest. It is a very bright, street view room with trundle beds. Although the room is optimal for one guest, there are two beds so it is also suitable for two. Cleaning fee is not included, it is up to the guest whether to pay it or not. If you choose not to pay, the cleaning will be carried out by you. It is the perfect place for a break during the summer or any other season, as it is surrounded by gardens in a peaceful residential area 30 km northwest from the centre of Madrid. Well-connected by direct buses to Carlos III University (Colmenarejo) and also to Moncloa bus station (Madrid). Next to Sierra Guadarrama and the regional park of the Cuenca Alta del Manzanares (river Manzanares), you will have the possibility to do all kinds of outdoor activities. As well as visting El Escorial monastery, built by order of King Philip II during the XVI century, who conceived it as a royal pantheon and turned it into his centre of political operations. Villalba Hospital is easily reachable from our place and there is more than one option for going there. So if you need to do your internship there our place is really near, as it is only 10 km from our place (15-20 min). Regarding about the leisure, there are shopping centres in Villalba and Torrelodones (both of them are 15 min from our apartment) and one of them has a cinema. You will have access to the swimming pools and the bar-restaurant during the summer and all the gardens in the residential complex. There is also free parking available. During the winter we turn on the heating and you could let us know if it is too high or too low for you. You can also regulate the radiator in the room. In our apartment, you will have free access to the kitchen and kitchenware, living room and outdoor terrace. In addition to your private bathroom. You will also get your own key. Information about public transport, such as buses, trains and metro in the centre of Madrid. We also help with directions for going by car or any other way the guest/s request. We are also able to assist you with tourism and culture-related issues, basic bureaucratic or administrative aspects if you would like to stay longer, as we have a wide knowledge of the area. Small explanation about the services nearby at the check-in, such as supermarkets, pharmacy, gas station, library, location of the different bus stops, train station and any other doubts you may have. We are in the centre of Galapagar, in a residential complex. It is a very well-connected town by car, train and several and frequent bus lines, which is 30 km from Madrid, 14 km from Real Monasterio de San Lorenzo de El Escorial and within walking distance to the nature (Sierra Guadarrama and the regional park of the Cuenca Alta del Manzanares). Bus stops 2 min walking from our place: - On the right hand side: 632 direct line to Madrid (Moncloa bus station) which takes aprox. 35 minutes. 630 direct line to the centre of Villalba. - On the left hand side 630 direct line to the centre of Colmenarejo and Carlos III University (Colmenarejo), which is the last stop. If you download the app "Transporte Madrid - EMT Interurbanos Metro TTP" you just need to enter the bus stop where you are at and you will see in how many minutes the bus you need is coming to that bus stop you entered.
