Cosy En-Suite Room in the Idyllic Whicham Valley

We welcome you to come and stay in our B&B set within our beautiful converted barn in the Whicham Valley. A peaceful, picturesque location with rural open views of the Combes. With Silecroft beach just a 5 minute drive away and Black Combe Fell (one of the Lake District's famous Wainwright's) walking distance from the barn. The B&B has a seperate entrance to the main barn and consists of two private newly renovated En-Suite bedrooms. 'THE SNUG' A super cosy newly renovated double bedroom with a luxury En-Suite bathroom. Beautiful views from every window, the perfect location to unwind and relax. A table and chairs are set within the room to enjoy a morning coffee/tea and an optional breakfast hamper (priced at £10pp/night, please let us know 48 hours in advance if you wish to add this to your stay) before heading out on your adventures. We are a dog friendly B&B. The barn is set within large gardens that are fenced off. Your hosts Josh and Meg will be available for any advice or help during your stay. With a passion and love for the Lake District and great outdoors, they are always happy to help! There are two local pubs within 2 miles of the Barn serving fabulous food and drinks. A perfect way to end your day. Port Havrigg Watersports is just 5 miles away offering a range of watersport activities such a paddleboarding, wakeboarding and banana boats. Coniston Lake is just a 30 minute drive away. Lake Windemere is a 40 minute drive or head over to Wast Water where you will find a route from the foot of the Lake up Scarfell Pike is a 35 minute drive. Josh & Meg will be available at the Barn if you woud like any help/advice on places to visit or activities in the local area. The TV does not have freeview channels but does work through Wifi to watch programmes through Netflix, Prime and BBC iPlayer etc. Due to the location of the barn the Wifi is run through a Satellite dish and therefore can be tempromental depending on the weather so we appologise in advance if this causes any disruption during your stay.
