The host is completely flexible and it is completely up to you how much interaction you require throughout your stay. When renting just one room, the host will be in the property but happy to simply be available for assistance as and when required, whether that is directions or a cooked breakfast! When renting the property as a whole the host will not be at the property and you will have access to the home as a whole. Stroud is a vibrant town full with many boutique clothing stores and delightful cafes serving local produce. Enjoy strolling through the Farmers Market on a Saturday morning and sampling the delights there is to offer such as local cheese and meats. Stroud is part of the five valleys (also known as the Golden Valleys) which consists of The Frome, Nailsworth, Painswick, Slad and Toadsmore – all full of beautiful Cotswold stone properties and nestled in the countryside. You’ll be spoilt for choice with walks and pub options! The canal that runs through Stroud is also a great spot for cycling and be sure to swing by the local brewery for a pint if you get a chance. Easily accessed from the M5 with parking at the property. 10 minute walk to Stroud station with direct link to London and lines to both Cheltenham and Bristol. Both taxi and bus extremely accessible so options to explore nearby towns such as Cirencester, Nailsworth, Tetbury and Painswick.
