Homely and welcoming, with garden and rural views, yet conveniently in the centre of the village, with it's flock of geese. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and train station; only 50mins to Melbourne and 30mins from Melbourne Airport. There is one bedroom with kingsize bed and ensuite, and one with queen size bed and ensuite. Third bedroom contains a single bed. Fold up single bed available. Open fire and gas stove. Firewood supplied. Split system a/c, and electric heaters. Three living areas. Kitchen. Three bathrooms in total, one with full size bath. Guests can use the whole cottage and large garden. Ramp to back door, non slip bathroom, wheelchair shower access. We live 3 minutes up the road, and are more than happy to provide assistance and advice as needed. Our 60 hectare bush property is freely available for bush walks and mountain biking[ bikes not supplied]. Hundreds of kangaroos, plus wedge tail eagles,great bird life, echidnas, wallabies, and occasionally koalas and deer. Riddells Creek is a village of 3500 people, situated in the Macedon ranges Shire. It is quiet, clean, compact and friendly. V-Line train: 50 minutes to Melbourne, on Bendigo Line. Tullamarine Airport 30 minutes by car. Melbourne CBD 50 minutes by car. Macedon Ranges 15-30 minutes by car. Cycling: reasonably flat[unless going up the mount!]Taxis: available from Sunbury [15K] and Gisborne [10K]. Park and lake over the road. Free onsite parking. 3 minute walk to multiple dining options: Thai, Indian, Italian, fine dining, takeaways, bakery, and great pub. 15 minutes to Mt Macedon with wonderful gardens and Memorial Cross, 20 minutes to iconic Hanging Rock. Many cool climate boutique wineries. 30 minutes from Tullamarine Airport. 50 minutes from Melbourne CBD by V-Line train or car.
