B&B "de Keekener " is a rustic house,nearby the rivers. The house is located on a very tranquil spot,in the middle of a protected nature area. But also we have beautifull villages and if you want; we advise you to do! See our only positive reviews! B&B "de Keekener" is situated in a natural area,near by the Rijn and Waal. The house is located on a very tranquil spot,for our guests we have 4 comfortable private rooms with good 2-double-beds, there are also two bathrooms(sometimes shared),3 toilets.All our rooms has a nice view and lots of daylight.All the rooms has a TV-set and there is free WIFI. For people who temporary work here( university Nijmegen/Kleve) it's a very nice alternative. A breakfast cost €7,50 p.p. is not included. Our terras has a beautifull country view. In our garden we made little private spots you can sit and enjoy the silence. In summertime we have a little swimmingpool with outdoor shower and sun-beds. You can park you're car close by the house and its- of course -free.The busstop is close by(10 min walk).In special occassions I can taxi you . What can you do more? A lot of..... We have 2 bike's for biking in the area, for rent. Per bike 5 euro, for the hole day. There are al lots of rare birds birdwatching We have nice lakes for swimming, (nordic)walking in nature park 'Reichswald' or Millingerwaard , visiting a sauna / wellnes ( Emmerich or Nijmegen), castell and shopping (Kleve), casino, movie and shopping(Nijmegen), draisine(Kranenburg) and lot's of restaurants/bar's and cafe's in the city. Horse riding you can closeby because there is very large forest,the Reichswald and you can take your own horse with you,by car and trailer it's ten minutes drive. Price in consultation.We have grassland for your horse. Stables are in the neighbourhood available (price in consultation), just let us know . Horse & Coaching Do you want to know yourself better? Get quick results and with a high impact follow the Horse Coaching Sjanne Reijnen ( girlfriend of Frank ) works in Holland by Schouten&Nelissen as a certificated coach and consultant/advisor. She can coach you during your stay, by using here own horse. Sjanne is a real "horsewoman" and she knows a lot about horses.She is adept and able to coach you with the method; "'Horse as Mirror''. You will talk about your coaching goal and in a short time the horse wil show you your challenges. It will be a very inspired event for you, everybody is excited about this method. Frank and Sjanne offer you all. The house is situated in a beautiful region, close to the Millingerwaard where I happened to meet just ONE person during the hours I explored the area. The room is very spacious and clean, with a good bed and a gorgeous couch! Breakfast - which was served in the beautiful garden - was delicious, with a fresh egg from their own chickens. There's a beautiful dog that guided me on an evening walk and ... Sjanne and Frank are perfect hosts. Really nice and easy going: they make you feel at home. Frank offered to make me a pancake when I arrived and he also took me from the bus stop when I arrived at the border between Germany and Holland. B&B De Keekener With kind regards, Frank and Sjanne When you are in our B&B,your entrance is in the main hall. From there it go's to the rooms upstairs. There is also refrigerator for everyone's use. The garden you can use when the weather is good! For our guests we are always approachable,do not hesitate to ask for information or otherwise..... Busstop at 10 min walk from our B&B. Buses are going each hour exept in weekends , national holidays and holidays. And Taxi-transport. Best is to come by car or rental-car and bicycle.
