Our stunning ocean-front family home is in the sought after location of South Coogee. With uninterrupted panoramic ocean and coastline views and space for up to 10 people it is the perfect setting for one large or two smaller families. With 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, huge open plan kitchen/dining/living room and outdoor entertainment area with large pool, our home is perfect for a large family or two families. For NYE you can see the Coogee fireworks at 9am from all the balconies. House setting: Welcome to the world famous Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. Home to some of the city’s top restaurants, cafes, boutique shopping and a number of the stunning beaches of Coogee, Bronte, Tamarama and Bondi. Come and enjoy the best of what Sydney has to offer! Your home during your stay is our stunning ocean-front family home with sweeping ocean views and the coast line up to Coogee, Bondi and beyond, where it’s common to see dolphins and, during the migration seasons, whales pass by. Opposite the house is the world-famous Coogee to Bondi coastal walk and a few metres away the Ivor Rowe Rockpool which can be enjoyed in all seasons. It takes 10 minutes to walk to Coogee beach and all its cafes, bars and restaurants. For New Years Eve the balconies offer a great view of Coogee’s amazing fireworks which (weather permitting) go off at around 9pm on NYE. If desired we are happy to assemble our decorated Xmas tree for the kids to enjoy Xmas day. Living areas: Enjoy the panoramic ocean views from our large open plan kitchen, dining, living room and outdoor entertainment area. This is a sociable hub of our home with floor-to-ceiling windows where the sun can be enjoyed inside or out throughout each day. The outdoor entertainment area has a large 4 burner BBQ and table and chairs for 8 people. There is a outdoor seating area in the shade. We have a very large and deep swimming pool perfect for kids and adults, which is fully enclosed by a glass fence. The dining area is a great space for family meals and can seat up to 10 people at the dining table and 4 at the breakfast bench. The kitchen has a large island unit, a large smog induction cook top, electric fan oven, steam oven, dishwasher, nespresso machine and all the usual appliances you would expect to see. When dinner is over you can relax in the living room and continue to enjoy the ocean views, especially as the day starts to fade and the night sky changes over the ocean’s horizon. There is also a TV and large gas fire to be enjoyed. There is a separate living area with a very large sofa, large TV, DVD player, Netflix and apple TV (with guest’s own account). On the bottom level of our home is a large rumpus room, with a full size table tennis table, TV, DVD player, Xbox and Wii. It has a sofa bed that can be used if required. Bedrooms and bathrooms: There are 5 bedrooms with 5 beds (for 7 people) which can be expanded with an extra 1 sleeping on a pull out king single trundle and an extra two in the rumpus room (to make 10) 1. The luxurious Master bedroom has a King bed, sweeping ocean views, balcony and luxury ensuite with a bath, large walk in rain shower and WC. This is a stunning place to relax at any time of the day. 2. Downstairs is a large room with a Queen bed and ocean views, a walk in robe and ensuite shower room. 3.On the middle floor are three more double bedrooms with king single beds. Optional extra sleeping spaces and beds: King single mattresses can be put in any of these bedrooms. No extra charge since these will be made up and just need to be moved if required (advance notice necessary). Double sofa bed can be made up own rumpus room (extra charge) Further to the bathrooms in the Master bedroom and downstairs bedroom there is a further family bathroom with walk in shower and WC, a toilet upstairs in the living areas and an outdoor shower room and WC. All rooms have built-in wardrobes or walk in robes and WIFI can also be enjoyed throughout the house. We have a large double garage and private driveway, which can park two cars comfortably. There is also parking on the street in front of the house. Guest access All areas can be accessed except one room off the main landing. Interaction with guests While we are away we will have someone to meet you who will be available to you by phone/sms/email (whatever you prefer) for the duration of your stay. Other things to note Professionally cleaned fresh linen, bath towels and an initial supply of toiletries (body wash and toilet paper) will be provided along with a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer. A number of beach towels are also available for your convenience. I will provide guests with keypad access to the house. There is off street parking but the office and garage will be locked and not accessible to guests. South Coogee is 10 to 15 minutes walk to Coogee beach with all its restaurants, cafes and bars. The famous coastal walk is right in front of the house. Walking distance to Lurline Bay and Mahon pools. Nearby is the gorgeous cafe Lion and Buffalo, 5 minutes walk. There is ample parking at the property. There are buses to the CPD and Bondi Junction 5 minutes walk from the property next to the Lion and Buffalo or the Coogee bakehouse on Malabar Road. CPD is a 20 minutes drive away.
