From the fully-equipped brand new fitted kitchen, to stylish additions such as Ercol and G Plan furniture sitting alongside upcycled vintage pieces, this self-catering holiday house in Holywell Bay ticks all the boxes. Little Chy has been lovingly created and guests can look forward to thoughtful touches such as fresh flowers and a welcome pack on arrival, luxury hand-soap in the bathrooms. These little touches set Little Chy apart from more run-of-the-mill self-catering homes in North Cornwall, and will delight couples looking for a perfect romantic holiday by the beach. After a day stomping the cliff path there’s nothing quite so delicious as snuggling up on the sofa to watch romantic movies with a tub of Cornish ice cream and a glass of something bubbly… This stylish holiday home in Holywell Bay boasts a generous king-size bedroom with adjoining en suite shower room. If you are enjoying a babymoon or holidaying with a young toddler, the owners will be only too happy to supply a standard wooden cot or low toddler bed at no extra charge (please request either in advance of arrival), just bring your own cot linen and let the owners know if you’d like use of the room dividing screen too. The en suite bathroom's walk-in double shower is spacious enough for two (!) and the ideal place to wash sandy toes after padding up from the beach. Little Chy’s king-size bedroom suite has the added bonus of a separate WC, so no jostling for the shower room in the morning. •The North Coast of Cornwall is particularly beautiful which is why even Hollywood loves it; Bond fans will be interested to learn that Die Another Day was filmed right here on the golden sands of Holywell! More recently the bay was used as a filming location for the new series of Poldark (although we are yet to see him ourselves, unfortunately!) For those looking to try their hand at surfing, Holywell Bay and the nearby beaches of Penhale, Crantock and Perranporth are all popular surf spots where surfers of all abilities flock to test their agility and prowess upon the Atlantic breakers found on this stretch of coast. The busier surf town of Newquay is just a short drive away. There is parking for two cars on the driveway to the front of the property. The owners live in the main house above but have their own side of the drive so won’t block your view of the dune-tops. Surfboards can be kept to the side of the house, whilst there is a small store out front for buckets n’ spades, wellies and crab lines. Little Chy is 200 yards from the sand dunes of Holywell Bay and (dependant on tide!) just an 5-minute stroll to the beach. ** NEW for our surfing guests, we now have an outside shower, Sup/Surfboard rack and hooks for wet suits. We will be on hand should you require any tips about where to go and what to do, but if you'd rather be left alone to enjoy your romantic holiday by the beach we'll make ourselves scarce! When staying this close to the beach you can look forward to walking in the shoes (or should we say flip-flops) of a true Cornish local; stroll to the bakery to pick up your morning coffee and croissants before finding your quiet spot sat atop the dunes with just the salt-kissed air and hypnotic crashing of the waves for company. The nearest train station is Newquay which is around a 15 minute drive away, although services are not very regular and you have to change trains at Par. Bodmin Parkway train station is approximately 45 minutes drive away from Little Chy, or the larger train station of Truro is 20 minutes away. Newquay airport is 20 mins drive. Please note for the months of April, May, June, July August, September, October the minimum stay is 7 nights, from Saturday to Saturday booking Little Chy can only accept 2 adult guests plus a baby or small child
