We are in a very safe and secure neighborhood minutes from highways, downtown and thirty minutes from the airport. If you are budget-minded, looking for a super welcoming, comfortable, safe, clean and fun place to stay, look no further! Visit the City Museum, St. Louis zoo, the Loop, Grants Farm etc. Many restaurants nearby. Get comfortable and kick off your shoes! Recently upgraded. Our super safe, bright, unique, secluded beach space welcomes you home with the sounds of the ocean, two comfortable beds, aquarium, private bathroom, private living room, private kitchenette, cable tv, wifi, books, games and bright lamps. You will have a chocolate on your pillow. As well, we offer a variety of snacks, chips and soda. For breakfast there is toast and bagels etc. The bedroom floor has rugs covering the sand so kick them off and wiggle your toes in the sand...or not. *Guests have a fridge ( filled with cold drinks, cream cheese, peanut butter, chocolate spread, etc.) There is a microwave, convention oven, toaster, egg poacher, a ton of snacks, fresh spring water dispenser, bagels, coffee, teas and hot chocolate. The living room has adult coloring books, games, books, WiFi etc. * You are welcome to the very spacious back patio and back yard. *The bathroom amenities will lure you into pampered bliss with hot rock massage, shoulder massage, facial machine, electric foot massager and more. *There are a myriad of things to do in St. Louis! Catch a Cardinals or Blues game, go up the Arch, attend a world-class play at the Muny. Try an Escape Room, or go to Forest Park where our exceptional zoo and the museum are free. The Botanical gardens is beautiful and Grants Farm offers free Budweiser beer tasting and a free train ride. * If you want to stay close by we have a movie theater and mall minutes away. As our guest reviews will verify, you will leave relaxed and wanting to return. Our home was featured in the St. Louis Post Dispatch (see south county beach house). We are on a quiet, friendly and safe cul-de-sac. Guests have private bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette and comfortable, warm, spacious private TV room/living area on lower level. As well there is a fridge, microwave,convection oven, coffee maker and tea kettle for guests use only. Guests also have access to our large back yard, patio, and fire pit. We are always available to offer help, directions, suggestions etc. before and during your stay. We would be delighted to share with you all the great amenities nearby. St. Louis has SO much to see and do, and much of it is within a few miles. We have a full catalog in your room showing all amenities, events, and fun things to do. Our place is minutes away from all major highways and close to a major mall. Our neighborhood is very safe, and scenic with lots of trees and green space to walk and relax. (A stream is minutes away.) There are dozens and dozens of restaurants and pubs within five minutes of our home. They include, in part, Outback Steakhouse, Longhorn Shogun Steakhouse of Japan, Buffalo Wildwings, Sapore Italian Cafe, Chilis, O'Charleys, sandwhich shops, McDonalds, Panera Bread Company fast food venues etc. As well, South County Mall (huge) for the best shopping. The area is also dotted with spas and both men's and women's hair and nail salons, Michaels Crafts, Joann's etc. There is no public transportation nearby. We have plenty of parking in our driveway and on the street. Uber is a phone call away. Please park on the street in front of the house. We have a keypad on the front door. The code will be given before you arrive. Your bedroom door can be locked and you can take the key with you while you explore St. Louis. We also ask that you take your shoes off at the entrance. We have a two friendly cats. If you don't want them in your area, please let us know and we will ensure they will not come into your space. We ask that our guests include one or two adults (for the second guest there is a small additonal fee) or one adult and a child over five. Smoking is allowed, but ONLY outside, please. No non-paying guests inside during your stay. Check-in time is 2 pm but arrangements can be made for early arrival. Check out time is 10 am.
