Delilah Ridge Winery Mid Mod Guesthouse

Welcome to Delilah Ridge Winery! We are a small vineyard 20 minutes outside the gates to Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. Built in 1955 from all locally sourced stone and timber, the guest house was once an art studio for renowned California painter Helen Clingan. Nestled in the foothills of the Sierras, this property provides great access to our national parks. Unlimited outdoor activities...hiking, biking, boating, fishing, backcountry skiing, and a 5 minute drive to the Cat Haven. The guesthouse consists of a living room/dining room/kitchenette space, a large bedroom, and a newly renovated bathroom. It has its own entrance. The bedroom has a king bed and a loft with a double and a wood burning stove. The living room has a flat screen tv, large sofa, record player, dart board, Roku, and an assortment of games. There is plenty of room for the queen sized Aerobed air mattress we provide on request. This large open space also has a kitchenette with fridge, countertop convection oven, microwave, and coffee maker and a dining table that seats 6 comfortably. The wifi works great for work from home situations. There is an outdoor sink for guests to use for cooking etc. and we provide a large propane stove and all pots and pans and utensils and basic seasonings and oils. Guests also have use of the gas/charcoal grill and shared patios. We have a hot tub available seasonally (October-May) and an above ground vinyl pool available seasonally (June-September) that guests are also welcome to use. There is an outdoor ping pong table and 40 acres of trails for hiking, jogging, and biking. We also have a great inflatable kayak you can borrow to take to one of the many local lakes! Check out (Website hidden by Airbnb) for great maps and locations. Every stay will come with a free Delilah Ridge Winery tour and tasting. We also have bottles for sale and a great charcuterie board! I Guests can use the bbq grill area. Guests can explore the vineyard and other areas of the property. The only areas that are not open to guests are the main house, pond patio, and garage. We live on the property full time and will be available most of the time. We will provide a cell number. We respect your privacy and do not enter guest spaces unless requested by the guest. The beauty of the property is that it isn’t close to the hustle and bustle. We do have an amazing coffee shop, Clingan’s Junction Coffee, with fresh homemade baked goods within walking distance at the end of the street. There is also a Valero gas station with a mini grocery (food, beer, wine, toiletries, etc) within walking distance. There is also a taco truck that parks at the Valero Monday-Saturday 2:00-5:00pm. Project Survival’s Cat Haven (a wild cat sanctuary) is 3 miles up the road. Gena’s Bar/Restaurant is 2 miles. Sierra Peaks winery is about 15min away. Of course, there are the National Parks which are about 20 minutes east. The Fresno airport is about 40 min. Driving is really the best way to get around. You can walk for coffee, tacos, or supplies at the gas station. Everything else is driving distance. Although we love animals, for the safety and sanity of our pets we ask that guests leave their pets home. We also have allergies and host guests with allergies and need to keep the guest house pet free. Thank you.
