The rural location provides countryside walks and cycling from the door step. The property is surrounded by open countryside but has excellent links to London, Ascot, Henley-on-Thames, Windsor, Reading, Newbury. and Basingstoke. It is just 28 miles from Heathrow International Airport and 57 miles to London Gatwick. We live in a small wing of the Coach House in the grounds, so we are on hand to guests. The location is rural but with the benefit of being very close to the M4. There are several pubs close by and a great Indian restaurant. There are delightful walks from the front door. London is an easy commute from Reading Station (the park and ride is a 1 minute drive/5 minute walk away from the church). The Madejski Stadium is 10-15 minutes drive away, as is Reading. There is lots to do in the area including: riding stables, go-karting, trampoline park, climbing walls, shooting range, and Unique Outdoors offering woodland lazer tag, zorbing and more! The property has excellent access to the M4, with junction 11 about 1.5 miles away providing access to London and the West Country and Heathrow Airport is less than 30 miles away and Farnborough Airport is about 16 miles distant. The property is nearby to the thriving town of Reading which provides shopping, recreation and leisure facilities. Reading train station is approx. 5 miles away and you can reach London with Paddington being just 29 minutes away, not to mention the new Crossrail line in 2018. Furthermore, the Mereoak park and ride is situated on the edge of Grazeley. There is plenty of parking at the church.
