We offer traditional bed & breakfast at our 19th-century Welsh farmhouse. We are ideally placed for you to explore the idyllic surrounding countryside, beaches, castles and nearby attractions of Carmarthenshire, with the Brecon Beacons and Pembrokeshire within easy distance. The bedroom is in the attic and has magnificent oak beams, an en-suite bathroom, comfy settees and fabulous views. Wake up to a full Welsh breakfast using local ingredients, homemade marmalade and eggs from our own hens. The farmhouse has two large family rooms on the third floor with exposed oak beams and en-suite bathrooms. There are a further two en-suite rooms in the barn conversion next door. All the bedrooms have a television and tea and coffee making facilities. We look forward to welcoming you to our home, upon arrival we will be here to greet you, help you orientate yourselves, provide you with information about wonderful places to visit and serve you breakfast. The farmhouse is situated on a hill overlooking Carmarthen Bay with views from Tenby in the west to the Gower peninsular in the east. Kidwelly is famous for it's medieval castle and church. Locally we have the Kings Arms in Llansaint and The Red Lion in Llandyfaelog which serve good pub food. Carmarthen is an old market town about 10 miles away with plenty of shops, a cinema and places to eat. Just outside Llanelli, 10 miles east is a very good retail park, Parc Trostre. The Millennium coastal path is 4 miles away and is ideal for walking or cycling along with stunning views of the sea and estuary. We are about 1 mile outside the town of Kidwelly. Your own transport is advisable - car or bike. There are pubs and shops etc within five mins (car)
