Welcome to the Gateway to the Olympics! Perfect crash pad if you’re in town for a wedding, golf getaway, or on your way to the Olympic Peninsula. Private spacious ground floor of split entry home in idyllic coastal town - 650 square feet suite comprised of bedroom with queen size bed, private bath, and spacious private den with separate entry from main living area. Can comfortably accommodate two adults in bedroom, plus a queen size air mattress can be provided for extra guests. Smoke-free home and property. Rooms are stocked with a coffee maker, smart tv (in den) with Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, dvd player, plates, coffee mugs, and wine glasses. Shared use of back deck and front patio. Off street parking for one car, street parking fine for additional car. WiFi throughout the house. Den has sitting area, dining table, and an antique piano (although we request that you do not play it without first obtaining owner’s permission). Washer and dryer available for light use with owner’s permission. Full disclosure, the washer and dryer are in the lower level bathroom - but owners will use best efforts to schedule use around your visit. Croquet and bocce available upon request in the warmer months. Owner occupies upper level of home with my friendly cat (we will stay upstairs, although you may hear a meow from time to time). I am a social host who loves to offer suggestions on sights to see and things to do, but I will also respect a guest’s privacy. Ensconced between the mountains and the water in a quiet neighborhood - a short walk to secluded walking trails, Appletree Cove, and tranquil beach. Five minute drive to restaurants, shops, marina, farmers market, movie theater, and ferries heading to Seattle and Edmonds. Short drive to nearby White Horse Golf Club, grocery stores and Starbucks. Storybook Port Gamble, Scandinavian fishing village Poulsbo, and nearby Bainbridge Island offer additional restaurants, shops, views, and kayak and standup paddleboard rentals. Mountain bike trails and additional hiking trails are also a short drive away. Eagles camp out in nearby tree and views of nature abound everywhere. We are just out of the downtown of Kingston, so having a car would be ideal. It is about a mile walk to the ferries, grocery, and downtown - or a quick drive. Please book for exact number of guests. List price is for two, with a charge of $10 per each additional guest.
