It is perfect for families in town for sports tournaments, vacationers passing through on I-435 who want an apartment to stay in while taking in the city, or relatives visiting local retirement home residents or nearby hospital patients. Here's what we've got: • roomy parking available in cul-de-sac, • outside security cameras • private deck and patio, • nearly 1000 sq. ft. of interior living space, • open living and dining room • 50" Smart TV 4K with hundreds of cable channels, • high speed fiber optic internet service, • sofa bed and two wingback chairs, • full dining room table and chairs, • accessory kitchen with serving counter and two bar stools, • side-by-side refrigerator, microwave • serving dishes/plates/cups/bowls/utensils/etc., • double sink with disposal, • full private bathroom with shower, • bedroom with king size bed and walk-in closet. • Enjoy a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate with our Keurig 2.0 Our Airbnb is 100% COVID free. Guests will have 100% access and 100% privacy to the entire designated areas listed above. Occasionally we will need to come downstairs for something. We will never enter unannounced or uninvited. We work at home, but come and go frequently. We are people oriented people so we will interact with you as much or as little as you desire. Since this is our home, we like to at least meet everyone (respectfully distanced) who stay with us in our home. And we will always be available by cell phone. You have the freedom to come and go as you please. You have access to much of our lower level. We will respect your privacy. We are close to I-435 near the Kansas/Missouri border. Our neighborhood is safe, quiet, and easily accessible to all parts of the city (most amenities are within a 20 minute drive). As an added level of security, we have installed outside surveillance cameras all around, including the cul-de-sac where your car will be parked. The houses nearby are modest, but well-kept. What makes this place fun is our home is surrounded by dense woods full of interesting wildlife. That said, there are many city amenities such as fun restaurants and shops just minutes away. It is the best of both worlds. With I-435 so close, many attractions are within a 30 minute drive such as Royals/Chiefs stadiums, Worlds/Oceans of Fun, Crossroads District downtown, and the Country Club Plaza. In addition, most major corporate offices are nearby as well. The airport is a 45 minute drive away. For exercise there is a two mile or a three mile walking route in our neighborhood you can take and never get out onto a major street. The local grocery store, some restaurants, a hardware store are all within a one mile walking distance via the bicycle/walking path. There is a city bus service that stops three blocks from our house. Where we live is safe, and as an added measure, we've installed an outdoor video surveillance system covering the exterior of our house and our cul-de-sac parking area. Also, because you have access to much of the lower level of our house, after greeting us, you may have complete privacy if you so desire. Thus, there is no chance of catching COVID here. Plus, since Cindy has been involved in the professional housecleaning business for several years, you can count on the fact that our Airbnb apartment will be clean and sanitary.
