*Amazing family location* We offer extra reassurances measures during this difficult time of covid 19. Perfect for families who want a family friendly home or friends who would love a social space. Our home is near beautiful beaches! We live in a historic town which hosts RHS Rosemoor Gardens and the Tarka Trail, one of the countries longest continuous traffic free walking and cycling paths. We have bars and restaurants and beautiful walks. During this difficult time of Covid 19, we understand that guests need extra reassurance and we have taken a number of steps to ensure our guests have a safe stay. *We have a key box so that we will not meet our guests in person to check them in, but I will be available by phone or over video call to go over anything that our guests might need. * *We are not doing same day check ins. We have blocked out the day prior to a guests arrival and the day after their departure, to ensure that we have adequate time to deep clean the whole property before the next guests arrive. * *We have signed up to Airbnb additional Covid cleaning requirements. * We know that time away is precious and will we do our absolute best to make your stay as memorable as possible. We offer a fantastic welcome hamper of local produce and we use local products throughout our home. Please let me know if you are celebrating a special occasion as we like to add extra touches. It is beautiful and spacious. The living room is a tranquil space with comfy sofas, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine after a day of exploring. The modern kitchen and dining areas are flooded with sunlight and overlook our beautiful family friendly garden. The kitchen leads onto the utility room where there is a large fridge and separate freezer and a washing machine. Enjoy a coffee from our Nespresso coffee machine at the breakfast bar in the kitchen overlooking the garden. Please help yourself to the coffee pods! Our garden is a sun trap and has a lovely seating area, where you can relax and look at the beautiful blooms. The master bedroom has a super king size bed with en-suite and walk in wardrobe, decorated in soft pinks and greys. The second bedroom is large with a super king bed and shutters that open to overlook the front garden. The third bedroom is equally as large with a bed with a slide (which can be removed if needed) and a double bed! The fourth bedroom hosts it’s double bed and is beautifully decorated with ferns and coppers, overlooking the back garden. The family bathroom is a generous space, with a free standing bath, perfect for relaxing in after a fun filled day. It also has a large walk in shower. We very much welcome families and toys, books, buckets and spades can be available for the children. We have super speed broadband and Sky TV. We will try our best to facilitate any other requests that may be made to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Guests have access to the whole house but not the garage. We will be available by phone or by text when ever you require. We live in a historic market town, Great Torrington, which has been named the healthiest place to live in the Country, due to the vast beautiful landscapes that surrounds it and the idyllic way of life. We have RHS Garden Rosemoor, Darlington Crystal, Great Torrington Heritage Museum and Hanson Nature Reserve. The Tarka Trail runs through our town, it is one of the countries longest continuous traffic free walking and cycling paths. There are many independent shops in our town and the most amazing bakery, Sandfords for all your Devonshire pasty and cake needs! They also offer vegan options. Our town has a gym, swimming pool and cinema at the plough Arts Centre which also provides amazing coffee and delicious lunches. We live 15 minutes drive from the bustling sea side town of Westward Ho! With beautiful beaches, restaurants and cafes. We are 40 minutes from the beaches of Croyde, Woolacombe and Saunton with their stunning beaches, perfect for a day on the sand or in the surf. The town of Barnstaple is 12 miles away with family lovely bars and restaurants, a cinema, bowling, air extreme and shopping. We are just 45 minutes drive from Exeter, with its stunning cathedral, vibrant bars and restaurants and buzzing shopping area. For families, the Big Sheep and Milky Way adventure park are near by, there is so much to do for all ages! You can get around by car, bus or local taxis. We provide hand towels and bath towels.
