Seacrest Seaside Cabin

Our cottage is beautifully situated just steps away from a protected beach - wonderful for beach-combing, clamming, oystering, crabbing (in season). Located on gorgeous Lummi Island, a short ferry ride and 20 minute drive away from Bellingham. You will love the outdoor space, the light, the comfy beds, and the proximity to fabulous dining - the Beach Store Cafe and world-famous Willows Inn. Bring your kayaks. Our place is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, families, and well-behaved pets. Choose between electric heat or wood stove. Twin french doors open up to the deck and shoreline. Original cabin was constructed in the 40's floated in on a barge before there was road access. Major remodeling has occurred since then, but the atmosphere of a true Northwest cedar shingled structure remains. Both the main cabin and smaller cabin, with game room and ping pong table, oars, life jackets, will be available. Guest will also have use of 14 ft rowboat. On Island resource is available. Please contact Lummi Island Concierge (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) and speak to Jackie Granger once at the cabin. Cabin is located on the beach, east side of Lummi Island just a couple miles south of the ferry dock. Neighborhood is very quiet, with a seasonal cabin 75 yards set back in the woods to the north, and another mostly hidden cabin to the south around 25 yards. Access gravel road arrives next to the side of our bunk house/cabin complex. ---Please Note* Between Sept. 11th, midday to Oct 3rd, the car ferry will be replaced with passenger only boat during this time . You can still bring your bikes. A free shuttle bus will be available. Dogs can ride on ferry, but while in bus need to be in carrier. You can get dropped off at head is our driveway. Island becomes even quieter! Store is close. More info on the Ferry (Website hidden by Airbnb) PS You are walking distance, about a mile to the grocery store. At low tide you can walk the beach to the store. Also the Beach Store Cafe will be open as well. Jackie Granger who maintains the cabin for us does rent bikes. Info in cabin. Many visitors bring there bikes. Bikes can also be rented from Lummi Island Concierge. No public transportation. One can walk to the closest store about 2 miles away called The Islander. To visit other parts of the Island, personal transportation is recommended.
