Today, tucked beneath a stand of mature Norway pines, it is a great place to enjoy the solitude and beauty of northern Wisconsin. The large front deck sits right on the waters edge and is a perfect place to relax, watch the loons, bald eagles & sunsets or plan your fishing strategy. Lovely place for up to 4 people. Good fishing, fire-pit, charcoal grill, swing set, parking for 2 vehicles. The Boxcar cleaning practices to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 Here is our cleaning, disinfecting and sanitizing checklist based on recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). All rooms are ventilated while being cleaned. Whenever possible, all windows are left open during the entire cleaning process. Hands are washed thoroughly before and after each cleaning. We use paper towels, disinfectant wipes, and other disposable cleaning products. Cleaning is done with soap or detergent and water, then we sanitizer/disinfect. Doing both is the best way to reduce the spread of infection. We focus on frequently touched surfaces. Light switches, doorknobs, remote controls, and faucet handles, just to name a few of the areas we disinfect. We wash all linens and towels at the highest heat setting recommended by the manufacturer We clean and disinfect all switches and knobs, vacuum cleaner, toaster, coffee pot, etc. If there is anything in particular you can think off that we have missed, be sure to let us know. Main water turn off is in the lean-to off of the back deck. Don’t be surprised if the neighbor cats greet you (Kojak and Cat Stevens are very gentle and friendly, but please don’t let them in the boxcar or feed them). Extra supplies and vacuum cleaner are in the master bedroom. Cleaning supplies are under the sinks. Extra blankets and pillows are in the dining room hutch & cedar chest.
