Perched atop the Barog hill town, at a height of 5150 ft, Meraki Holiday Home, as its name suggests, is a labour of love and passion. Set amidst tall pine trees this cottage provides the most stunning views of the historic Dagshai hills and the highest peak of Kasauli, the Monkey Point. When you want to run away from the city lights and delights to surrender yourself in the lap of nature this luxurious cottage is sure to provide fuel for your soul. This four bedroom, three level property is tastefully designed to provide a cozy and comfortable stay to travellers. It is perfect for a large group, bunch of friends, a corporate group, or just travellers who love to explore the less traveled terrains. Each room is individually provided with an electric tea kettle and tea chest. Living room, fire place, pool table, and dining area are commonly accessible to all guests. A small garden on the ground level and a large balcony on the upper deck are also accessible to the guests depending which floor they are occupying. I am always available on phone for any kind of assistance or even guidance for your local travel. The famous Kasauli is merely 40 minutes away and Shimla can be reached within 2 hours. The picturesque Barog Railway station is within 15 minutes distance by car and another 20 minutes trek down to the valley. Historic Dagshai hills are just 15 minutes away from Meraki cottage. However the most beautiful is a walk on the village trail early morning or at dusk. The cottage is 2 hrs away from Chandigarh airport and at an hours distance from Kalka railway station by car. Caretaker would be present at the time of check-in, would also be available on call. Additionally I can be called for any further assistance or guidance. Home cooked meals are available on chargeable basis. Kindly note only vegetarian options are provided. Pick and drop from Kalka railway station and Chandigarh airport can be organised on prior request. We believe in a neat and clean environment, therefore we would appreciate if the same is maintained by our guests. our caretakers would visit once a day for cleaning and general services. Lodging for drivers/servants can be organised in guest houses in the nearby market place on prior notice and availability basis An iron and an iron board are available at the property and can be provided by the caretakers on request. Kitchen: Self-cooking is not allowed. A reasonably priced in-house lunch/dinner/snacks/quick-bites menu is also available at the property. The caretaker can also assist you with the nearby restaurant options and their respective menus if required.
