Bellbrae Cottage is situated only 15 minutes from Toowoomba. The cottage located at the end of a Jacaranda lined driveway with sweeping country views and is only 12 minutes from The Ridge Shopping Centre, Preston Peak and Gabbinbar Wedding venues. We have and acre of garden for you to enjoy and are happy to have your dog staying after consultation with us. Alexandra and Peter are here to make your visit a perfect country escape. Our home "Bellbrae" is a beautiful Queenslander which has over an acre of garden and 5 acres of paddocks which we have brought back to life. Cows will stroll by the boundary fence and the cottage is adjacent to our vegetable and herb garden. You have your own verandah with a bbq and fire pit. The cottage is situated beside an established Jacaranda tree providing shade and beauty. Bellbrae Cottage is ideal for anyone seeking peace and quiet and who is looking to have a country experience together with the opportunity to experience a thriving and beautiful country city. Your dog will be safe from traffic and able to enjoy the space available. We will normally be at home for your stay, we are happy to leave you to explore on your own. We are available from 9.00 am through 6.00 pm. Message via mobile works best. Bellbrae is situated alongside working farms yet is only minutes from Toowoomba where you can visit the Cobb & Co Museum and in September the renowned Flower Festival. There are extensive parks, playgrounds, theatre and cinema as well as excellent shopping. There is a paper and convenience store only 5 minutes away. We are also 10 minutes from the beautiful Preston Peak Winery and wedding venue. Thirty minutes from Darling Downs Zoo and the perfect stop on the way to Warwick and Stanthorpe wine country. There are a number of country pubs in the area particularly the Bull & Barley at Cambooya which is only 10 minutes away. It is very easy to get around by car. There is excellent parking in town and exceptional walking trails around the area. Beware of varying speed limits which constantly change and are policed by roadside patrols and cameras. Driving in and around Toowoomba is easy with generous parking. Walking routes can be found on the Toowoomba Regional Council website. There are also extensive cycleways in and around Toowoomba. We are only 30 minutes from Wellcamp Airport and just under 2 hours from Brisbane Airport. Qantas services both airports. The loft bedroom has a Queen size bed, a reading chair and a couch which can be used as a double bed by arrangement.
