The apartment consists of a living room/bedroom with a double bed, and separate kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is small, but as i love to cook, it's well equipped. There's also a balcony which gets sun from the early afternoon right through until sunset. The apartment is equipped with high speed fiber internet. Public transport connections are great - there's a tram stop 50 meters from the apartment. From there, it's 15 minutes to the central train station or lake, and 30 to the airport. Guests will have the complete apartment to themselves. I'm at work Monday to Friday, so normally I can't personally greet guests when they arrive. I'm more than happy to answer questions about Zürich, or point out my favourite restaurants etc. If you're here in the summer, there's a really nice outdoor park & swimming pools called Freibad Letzigraben just 100m away from the apartment. The address is Edelweissstrasse 5, (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Zürich. I can't post a link to the website here, but if you (Hidden by Airbnb) for "badi info letzigraben" you will find opening times, water temperature etc. PUBLIC TRANSPORT Public transport in the city is great, and would be my choice for getting around the city. The Swiss transport website website (sbb.ch) provides timetables and connection information for buses/trams/trains/boats. Gooogle maps also works well. Tram 2 goes from the Letzigrund tram stop, 50m from the apartment. There is also the option to walk 5 minutes to Albisriederplatz tram/bus stop, and from there you can take tram 3, and a number of buses. PARKING FOR CARS In general, Zürich isn't a very car friendly city, and in most cases you'll get around faster by public transport. The main option for parking in residential areas is in "Blue Zones", which are parking spaces along the street with a blue line around them. There are some of these along my street, and on the neighbouring streets. A permit to use the blue zone parking costs 15 francs per day, and can only be bought online. After you buy the permit, you print it out and display it in your car. Sometimes the blue zone can be quite full, but normally you'll be able to find a free space either on my street, or one of the adjacent ones.
