Lush green, previous artist studio in family home.

You will stay in what used to be the studio space in our vibrant family home. There is a spacious desk to possibly work on, fridge with freezer, convection microwave-oven, kettle and toaster. The outdoor area with table and chairs is private and looks into our lush always green garden. We are 3 minutes walking distance away from a lovely cafe "Coffee Tree". There is safe parking available in the back alley, where a security guard watches 24 hours a day. The space has a wonderful open feeling. The big windows give you almost the idea to be sleeping in the tropical garden. There is a little room divider to brake the space a bit when sleeping, but there are no curtains... You will have absolute privacy though and no one will be able to look inside. You will have your own direct excess to the suite... There is a private bathroom with shower. There is everything to prepare a simple meal in the micorwave / oven and to make breakfast. You can leave your dishes outside in a bucket for us to wash and you are more than welcome to use our kitchen together with us if you like. I would love to share with you why I enjoy it so much to live in Durban. We are based in upper Glenwood. A very safe area, with a security guard on duty 24 hours a day. We are part of a very warm and thight community. In the mornings I walk my little one to school and there is almost always someone waiting with a cup of coffee for me on the way back home at the little cafe overlooking the park in front of our house. We are very close to some lovely restaurants and to defentily the best bakery in Durban: The Glenwood Bakery. The KZNSA gallery is also very close by. They have a great day-time restaurants, lovely shop and often interresting exhibitions. I work from home and have a studio that is open for customers by appointment. You are of course more than welcome to also come and see what I do... We have two daughters, one 9 year old and one 3 year old. They love to play in the garden and jump on their trampoline, but all of that happens on a lower level in the garden than what you will be at and they will excess the garden from the other side of the house. Next door to us is a B&B and sometimes you can hear guests come home at night, but overall it is quiet in our area and very safe.
