The spacious and bright apartment for 2 to 4 guests in a small two-family house from the early 20th Century lies quietly at the foot of the Niederwald in a dead end. It has two bedrooms, a daylight bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a terrace with seating and a large living room with dining area and a wonderful view of the vineyards, the red wine community of Assmannshausen and the Rhine. The famous Rheinsteig trail leads directly past the house, the Niederwald hunting lodge can be reached on foot or with the Assmannshaus chairlift. The village of Assmannshausen invites you to linger with some restaurants and bars. Rüdesheim am Rhein is only about 8 minutes by car from Assmannshausen, trains run every hour, and in the season from Easter to the end of October there are regular excursion boats to the romantic UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley with its multitude of castles and wine villages. In Rüdesheim am Rhein there are just as many restaurants as well as numerous shops and supermarkets. Guests have their own terrace with furniture and a charcoal grill.
